Care Philosophy: Ani Fleisig, MD, FACS, is a board-certified general surgeon with additional fellowship training in minimally invasive/laparoscopic surgical techniques and surgical oncology. She believes in treating each patient with respect and compassion, working with the patient on his or her road to recovery. Dr. Fleisig specializes in surgery for a broad range of cancers from breast, skin, thyroid and gastrointestinal cancer to sarcomas.

Biography: Richard Standaert Jr., MD, is a board-certified general surgeon offering comprehensive wound care to enhance each patient's quality of life. Dr. Standaert offers comprehensive wound care to enhance each patient's quality of life. He strives to optimize communication and is always learning to ensure the best care possible. Dr. Standaert served for 32 years in the United States Air Force, where he attained the rank of Colonel. Prior to joining the Wound Care Center, he served as Chief of Surgery at Nellis Air Force Base in Nevada and as an Assistant Clinical Professor with Uniformed Services University. Outside of work, he enjoys hiking and is involved with the American Legion.
