Care Philosophy: Benjamin Ihms, DO, is a board certified family medicine physician who grew up in Arizona and plans to turn old and gray here. He earned his bachelor's degree in biology and a minor in chemistry from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix. Prior to going to medical school, Dr. Ihms was a teacher of math, science and orchestra with the BIOS Christian Academy for five years. He is married to his high school sweetheart and they have three "good-looking, brilliant, and hilarious children.'' When he's not working, he can be found on the basketball court, hanging out with his kids, or playing board games.
