Biography: Originally from Louisville, Kentucky, Dr. Andrew Parker was drawn to orthopaedics out of a desire to help people of all ages regain lost function and return to the activities or sports they enjoy. After earning a BS in Biology and Chemistry from Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, Dr. Parker returned to his hometown and graduated magna cum laude from medical school at the University of Louisville. He then moved to Chicago where he completed his internship and residency in orthopaedic surgery at Northwestern University. Dr. Parker concluded his formal medical education by completing a fellowship in sports medicine at the Baylor Sports Medicine Institute in Houston, Texas. Fascinated by the technical aspects of his specialty, Dr. Parker likes the challenges of the ever-changing field of orthopaedics. He especially enjoys the doctor-patient relationships that he has developed because he feels most orthopaedic patients are ``motivated and proactive about their recovery.`` As an active and respected participant in many professional medical organizations, Dr. Parker has delivered numerous presentations and educational seminars at orthopaedic conferences around the country. Currently, Dr. Parker serves as a team physician for the Washington Redskins. He also has significant experience in the area of sports medicine having cared for athletes from the Chicago Bears, Chicago Cubs, Chicago Blackhawks, and Northwestern University. Additionally, he served as team physician for DC United and he served as assistant team physician for the Houston Texans, Houston Astros, and the University of Houston while doing his fellowship.

Biography: Dr. Aaron Gebrelul is a fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon specializing in joint replacement of the hip and knee. He has particular expertise in robotic-assisted surgery as well as minimally-invasive techniqueswhich allow for more personalized care and rapid recovery. After graduating magna cum laude from Washington University in St. Louis, Dr. Gebrelul began his medical training at Emory University in Atlanta. He then excelled as an Orthopaedic Surgery resident physician at the University of TexasSouthwestern in Dallas, where he was selected to serve as Chief Resident. During his final year, he received both the G. Truett James and Vert Mooney awards, which are given annually to the most academically accomplished resident. Dr. Gebrelul then moved on to complete his fellowship training at the prestigious University of Pennsylvania, where he learned alongside internationally recognized leaders in the field of hip and knee replacements.During his career, Dr. Gebrelul has been active in research and has published numerous studies, abstracts, and book chapters addressing various aspects of hip and knee replacements. He has had his work presented at national meetings, and he is a fellow member of the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons (AAHKS).Dr. Gebrelul's surgical focus includes direct anterior (DA) total hip replacements, minimally-invasive partial and total knee replacements, fracture care, and complex revision surgeries. Aulisi, MD, FAANS, FACS, is the chairman of the Department of Neurosurgery at MedStar Washington Hospital Center and serves as medical director of the MedStar Neuroscience Intermediate Care Unit.
