Biography: Dr. Harp graduated summa cum laude from Vanderbilt University and attended medical school at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, where she graduated with high honors. She then moved to San Francisco where she completed her internship in internal medicine at California Pacific Medical Center. She trained in dermatology at the University of California, San Francisco, where she served as chief resident during her final year. Dr. Harp's practice includes general dermatology with a specific clinical interest in complex medical dermatology and skin disorders related to internal disease. Her research interests include autoimmune dermatology, cutaneous vasculitis, and cutaneous drug reactions. In addition to her outpatient practice, she serves as Director of the dermatology consultation service at New York Presbyterian Hospital.

Biography: Richard D. Granstein, M.D. is the George W. Hambrick, Jr. Professor and Chair of the Israel Englander Department of Dermatology. Dr. Granstein obtained his undergraduate education at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and his medical education at the UCLA School of Medicine. After completing his internship in 1979, he trained in dermatology at the Massachusetts General Hospital. As a Research Fellow, Dr. Granstein studied immunology and tumor biology at the National Cancer Institute-Frederick Cancer Research Facility and at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Granstein joined the faculty of the Department of Dermatology at Harvard Medical School and the Massachusetts General Hospital in 1984. In 1995 he left Harvard to become Chair of the Israel Englander Department of Dermatology at the Weill Medical College of Cornell University and Dermatologist-in-Chief at the New York Weill Cornell Medical Center of New York-Presbyterian Hospital.Dr. Granstein's research interests center on the regulation of immunity within the skin and the relationship of the skin's immune system to the development of skin cancers. He also has a special research interest in the regulation of the immune system by stress and the nervous system. He was the first to demonstrate that certain immune cells within the skin are capable of initiating an immune response against a malignant tumor and that immune cells within the epidermis (the upper layer of the skin) have an anatomic relationship with nerves and can be regulated by proteins produced by those nerves. His clinical interests include autoimmune disorders of the skin, skin cancer, and psoriasis.

Biography: Dr. Lauren is an Associate Professor of Dermatology and Pediatrics at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. She received her undergraduate degree from Cornell University and medical degree from Columbia University, College of Physicians and Surgeons where she was elected to AlphaOmega Alpha Honor Society. She completed residency training in Pediatrics at the Children'sHospital of Philadelphia where she was selected as chief resident. Dr. Lauren then returned to Columbia University to complete her Dermatology residency at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. Following her training in Dermatology, she completed a Pediatric Dermatology Fellowship under the tutelage of Dr. Maria Garzon. Dr. Lauren is board-certified by the American Board of Dermatology and the American Board of Pediatrics. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD). She is a member of the Society for Pediatric Dermatology, the PediatricDermatology Research Alliance, and is a current executive committee member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, Section on Dermatology. Biography: Maria Garzon, M.D. is Professor of Dermatology and Pediatrics at Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons (VP&S) and the Director of the Division of Pediatric Dermatology at NYP Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital. With a significant body of published research, leadership and teaching experience, Dr. Garzon is an internationally recognized leader in pediatric dermatology. She is a leading expert on the care of children and adolescents with vascular anomalies, particularly hemangiomas and vascular malformations. Dr. Garzon is the Founder and Co-Director of the NYP/Columbia University Irving Medical Center (NYP/CUIMC) Interdisciplinary Vascular Anomalies Group, a founding member and past President of the Hemangioma Investigator Group (HIG) and a founding member of the Pediatric Dermatology Research Alliance (PeDRA). She is a past President of both the Society for Pediatric Dermatology and the New York Dermatological Society. Biography: Dr. Jack Levy is a double board-certified Mohs Micrographic and Cosmetic Dermatologic Surgeon who joins the Israel Englander Department of Dermatology at Weill Cornell Medicine.After a career in the arts, Dr. Levy completed his premedical studies at Columbia University and earned his medical doctorate at Weill Cornell Medical College. He completed his post-graduate training in internal medicine and dermatology at Mount Sinai and Emory University Hospitals, respectively, serving as chief resident in his final year. Following her residency, she completed an additional year of specialized fellowship training in pediatric dermatology at New York University Medical Center. Biography: Stephanie M Gallitano, MD, joined the faculty of the College of Physicians and Surgeons at Columbia University and the staff of NewYork-Presbyterian in 2017. She is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Dermatology, Director of Milstein and Allen Hospital Inpatient Consultation, and Dermatology Residency Program Director. She received her undergraduate degree from Washington University in St. Louis and her medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine. She completed her medical internship at New York University Hospital and completed her Dermatology residency at SUNY-Downstate where she served as Chief Resident. Dr. Gallitano's unique areas of interest include treating patients with dermatologic conditions related to their history of solid organ transplantation, cancer-treatment-related skin reactions, skin reactions that occur during hospitalization, and autoimmune/autoinflammatory skin disease. She enjoys caring for patients with cutaneous skin infections or skin diseases related to immunosuppression. She enjoys collaborating with colleagues throughout the institution to provide multidisciplinary care that results in optimal outcomes for patients. She is happiest when her patients get better.
