Biography: William Morgan, MD, FACS, is a board-certified general surgeon providing surgical care to patients in Rochester, New Hampshire, at the outpatient surgery clinic at Frisbie Memorial Hospital and also serves as an acute care surgeon with Portsmouth Regional Hospital in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. Dr. Morgan has more than 20 years of experience performing laparoscopic, endoscopic, and traditional general surgical procedures. Dr. Morgan earned his medical degree from Saba University School of Medicine in the Netherlands Antilles. He went on to complete his general surgery residency training at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee and the Marshfield Clinic in Marshfield, Wisconsin. Prior to medical school, he earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of North Dakota in his home town of Grand Forks, North Dakota. Dr. Morgan is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and board-certified by the American Board of Surgery. He has more than 20 years of experience performing laparoscopic, endoscopic, and traditional general surgical procedures. He also has a specialty focus of minimally invasive varicose vein treatments. He currently is serving as co-chief of Surgery at Frisbie Memorial Hospital. Outside of work, Dr. Morgan is a private pilot and his hobby is building airplanes. He also enjoys traveling, camping and fly fishing.
