Biography: Dr. Michael Adelman was drawn to the mental health field due to the real-world nature of his everyday work. Biography: Dr. Varsha Vora is dual board-certified in general and child and adolescent psychiatry. She completed her residency in psychiatry at BronxCare Health System and her fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at NYU Langone Medical Center.

Biography: Dr. Scott Griffies's interest in the relationship between the brain and body furthered his pursuit of a career in psychiatry. Dr. Griffies provides medication management, group mind-brain-body skills, and psychoeducation. He sees patients with psychological aspects of medical and surgical conditions in oncology, rheumatology, endocrine, neurology, physical medicine, and pain (non-opiate treatments). He directs programs for neuropsychodynamic and stress-related physical disorders. These programs include conditions like somatic symptom disorders, functional neurologic symptom disorders, and disorders such as fibromyalgia, irritable bowel disorder, interstitial cystitis, chronic fatigue, or other chronic neuro-inflammatory conditions. Dr. Griffies was an associate professor at Duke University and Louisiana State University, teaching psychiatry courses.

Biography: Dr. David Capelouto treats adults with eating disorders, compulsive gambling, hoarding, post-partum and pregnancy depression, and traumatic brain injuries. In addition, Dr. Capelouto provides gender-affirming care and transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS). He understands the slow healing process and provides a combination of medication and therapy for his patients. Dr. Capelouto completed his general psychiatry residency at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
