Biography: Samik Banerjee, MD, an orthopedic surgeon who specializes in hip and knee replacement surgery, is part of Einstein Healthcare Network's Department of Orthopedics and Total Joints Surgery. Dr. Banerjee received his medical degree and completed an orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Calcutta, India. In the United States, he completed a 5-year accredited orthopaedic residency at Albany Medical Center, Albany, NY. He subsequently completed the Pelvic and Lower Extremity (Adult Reconstruction) Fellowship at Rothman Institute, Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, Philadelphia. Biography: Dr. Andrew Beaver is a board-certified Orthopedic Surgery with specialized training in the area of sports medicine. Throughout his career, Dr. Beaver has served as a team physician for many high school programs and professional teams, including the Philadelphia Wings. Among his affiliations, Dr. Beaver is an active member of the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine. Dr. Beaver received his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Einstein Medical Center and fellowship trained in sports medicine at Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore, MD. Prior to joining Einstein, Dr. Beaver was an Attending Physician at the Cooper Bone & Joint Institute.
