Care Philosophy: Dr. Zamorano began his career as a professor at the University of California, Irvine, Medical Center. He spent 12 years as the Director of Orthopaedic Trauma where he enjoyed teaching Orthopaedic Surgery residents and medical students. In 2016, he came to Boise, Idaho where he became the Director of the Orthopaedic Trauma Service at St. Alphonsus Regional Medical Center. After 6 years as an employed surgeon at St. Al's, Dr. Zamorano has decided to become an independent surgeon so that he can focus on patient-based care. He is excited to take the knowledge and expertise that he has gained in the last 17 years, and provide exceptional care for all patients in the Treasure Valley. When not at work, Dr. Zamorano enjoys spending time with his family, exercising, golfing and camping.
