After college, she spent two years teaching English in Prague, Czech Republic, where she met her husband. Upon moving back to the United States, she attended the University of South Alabama for medical school where she was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Honor Medical Society and graduated in the top 10 percent of her class. Dr. Payne completed her internship and residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver, Colorado. Dr. Payne enjoys providing compassionate, holistic, high-quality care to women of all ages from teens through menopause. She treats a wide variety of conditions including abnormal bleeding, ovarian cysts, fibroids, infertility, endometriosis, testing for hereditary cancers (e.g., breast, ovarian, endometrial, colon), treatment for menopausal symptoms with bio-identical hormones, and more. She loves delivering babies and taking care of high-risk and normal pregnancies. She specializes in minimally invasive surgery including robotic surgery that allows women to recover quicker and get back to their active lives.
