I began practicing at Digestive Health Specialists in the fall of 2015 coming from a practice in Maryland. I received my Doctorate of Medicine and graduated Cum Laude from the University of Debrecen Medical and Health Science Center. I then completed my Residency and Fellowship in Gastroenterology at Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow, New York. There I was awarded Resident of the Year and was a Keynote speaker at Residency Graduation. I am a strong advocate of colon cancer prevention. My clinical interests include treatment of IBS, Celiac disease, Pancreatitis, and Peptic Ulcer disease.

Born and raised in Western Maryland, I received my Bachelor of Science degree from West Virginia University in 2004. Upon graduation, I attended medical school in England, where I subsequently earned my Doctorate of Medicine in 2008 graduating magna cum laude. I completed my internal medicine training and gastroenterology and hepatology fellowship at Nassau University Medical Center in New York, where I was also Chief Resident of the Internal Medicine Residency Program. I was awarded Intern of the Year, Resident of the Year, and Fellow of the Year during my training. I have also completed a 4th Year Fellowship in Advanced Inflammatory Bowel Disease at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, MD. My clinical interests include Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, irritable bowel syndrome, reflux disease, esophageal disorders, liver disease, and colorectal cancer prevention. I have been practicing gastroenterology and hepatology since 2015.

I received my BA degree from Biola University in La Mirada, California and completed an Associate in Nursing degree prior to completing the Physician Assistant program at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. I am a Certified Physician Assistant with over twelve years of GI experience. I am a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the North Carolina Academy of Physician Assistants. I have extensive experience caring for patients with chronic liver disease.
