After residency, Dr. Darwal received advanced fellowship training in open cerebrovascular and endovascular neurosurgery as well as neurocritical care at Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Darwal has more than 20 publications and presentations focusing on a range of topics – including minimally invasive spine surgery, carotid stent techniques, flow diversion for aneurysms, chronic subdural hematoma, neuromodulation, and nerve damage – to her credit. She recently published a series of operative endovascular videos for Operative Neurosurgery. Dr. Darwal is as passionate about being at the forefront of new advances in neurosurgery as she is about taking care of her patients.

Dr. Gregory Schroeder is a fellowship trained spine surgeon and serves as Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at Thomas Jefferson University. Dr. Schroeder completed his internship in General Surgery and his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago, IL. Dr. Schroeder has authored numerous publications and has presented at orthopaedic meetings regionally, nationally and internationally and holds several editorial positions, including Executive Editor for Clinical Spine Surgery in Philadelphia, PA. He has conducted extensive research in the field of spine surgery and continues to actively do so.

Douglas C. Sutton, MD, specializes in the evaluation and treatment of adult and adolescent spinal disorders. This includes the evaluation and treatment of congenital, developmental, and post-traumatic conditions of the spine. His surgical practice includes decompression procedures of the spine, micro/minimally invasive procedures, anterior and posterior fusion techniques, motion preservation technology, and spinal instrumentation. Dr. Sutton is an orthopaedic surgeon with the Aria 3B Orthopaedic Institute. He received his Bachelor's of Science degree in Physical Therapy from Temple University and his Medical Degree from Jefferson Medical College. Dr. Sutton completed his general surgery internship at Pennsylvania Hospital and his orthopaedic residency through the Thomas Jefferson University Hospital Department of Orthopaedics. He then completed a Fellowship in Adult Spine Surgery through the Thomas Jefferson University Hospital Department of Orthopaedics. He is board-certified through the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and has been practicing for more than 20 years.
