Throughout the course of his residency, he trained with many world-renowned orthopaedic surgeons at Parkland in trauma and joint reconstruction, Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children & Children's Medical Center in pediatric orthopaedic trauma and spinal deformities, and attended a traveling orthopaedic fellowship at Auckland City Hospital in New Zealand. He concluded his training with the highest-volume orthopaedic trauma fellowship in the nation at Orlando Regional Medical Center. It was there that he honed his skills in complex polytrauma patient management, pelvis & acetabulum fracture care, deformity reconstruction, nonunion/malunion treatment, periprosthetic fractures and joint reconstruction including direct anterior hip replacement. Following his fellowship, he sought and obtained a job to be back DFW to continue caring for the population that he became so familiar with in residency. Dr. Green's passion is treating patients and getting them back to their pre-injury function. He believes that includes proper treatment of their orthopedic injuries, and also working with his patients to get through the mental and social struggles that can coincide with those injuries. Dr. Green enjoys spending time with family, friends, and his dog (Boogie the boxer). Some of his hobbies include weight training, skiing, and anything else outdoors.
