Biography: Charis Noteboom, MD is an obstetrician and gynecologist who is passionate to be part of all transitions of a woman's life. Life, along with medicine, is continually in flux. It is Dr. Noteboom's goal to advocate for her patient's by patiently listening and embracing the new advancements in medicine that are constantly being discovered. She specializes in minimally invasive surgery including both robotically and laparoscopically, as well as high-risk obstetrics. Biography: Dr. Twist is a lifelong Kansan who grew up in Hutchinson and remains a proud Salthawk. She continued her education after high school at the University of Kansas, where she met her husband, Rock Chalk! After completing her undergraduate degree, she worked for the university as a recruiter, traveling throughout the country and helping high school students identify their passions. However, Dr. Twist knew her passion always lay within medicine. She attended medical school at the University of Kansas. She was selected to study at the University of Kansas-Wichita for her final years of medical school. During this time in Wichita, she and her husband fell in love with the community and had their son at Wesley Medical Center. They were thrilled to be matched to the University of Kansas Wichita residency program and settled their roots in the town. They now have added a daughter to the fun and love living within a few blocks of their mother-in-law. It takes a village, and Dr. Twist is so thankful to be close to her village.
