Saved my husbands life more than once
Dr. Pandey saved my husbands life and gave him the best possible outcome after a ruptured PICA aneurysm. He had a 1% chance of living and being able to return to work. It took 5 brain surgeries to secure the aneurysm and get him back to work, but here we are 3.5 years later. Each surgery Dr. Pandey was phenomenal! He is humble, caring, and brilliant. He is an excellent researcher and finds a safe way to give the patient the best possible outcome. His residents were also just as phenomenal (special call out to Dr. Ward). He is the one of the best surgeons in the U.S. and probably the world. He operates on the inoperable and gives those without hope, hope. We will be forever grateful to Dr. Pandey and all the nurses, doctors, PM&R teams, hospital staff, clerks, and the social workers on the units who were and still are on our aneurysm recovery journey.

Dr. Pandey saved my daughter's life after a ruptured brain aneurysm. During the scariest time of our lives, he was a calming presence--the kindest, most brilliant and yet down-to-earth doctor we've ever dealt with. He explained everything in detail and answered all of our questions with patience; we never felt as if we weren't his #1 priority. Not only is he a wonderful surgeon, but he is extremely dedicated to researching and finding new and better ways to help those who suffer with brain bleeds. I will always recommend him and his wonderful staff for anyone with neurological issues!

My husband was suppose to have spine surgery tomorrow. Physically, mentally and psychologically we had to get prepared. The doctor called this morning and said he had to reschedule?!! He said he was on call and had 2 emergencies. The only doctor that could do the other surgeries was out of town. So my question is; why do you take my husband of his blood thinners and schedule a surgery when you are on call and no other doctor is their?!! Stressed out!!

Doctor Pandey saved my life or at least prevented me from spending my life in a wheelchair. I was diagnosed with an extended spinal fistula. From my first meeting with this renowned surgeon he conveyed professionalism, confidence and a bedside manner second to none. He successfully repaired the affected artery. He and his team at U of M provide what care and treatment as an exemplary model of what patient treatment and care should be. I will always be grateful for the life enhancing care I got

I was flown from Traverse City to Ann Arbor with a ruptured brain aneurysm. Dr. Pandey not only saved my life but also the quality of my life. My husband is a RN. Dr. Pandey included him in all aspects of my care. I have never met any doctor that could even come close to comparing to Dr. Pandey's incredible bed-side manner. There are no words that can possibly describe the wonderful care he's provided to me & my family over the past 5 years. He's the BEST of the best.
