I had a frozen shoulder procedure in January 2020 and while under sedation, the doctor noted a tare in my rotator cuff. Rather than put that off to another surgery later, he repaired the tare. He explained after the procedure that he had to put a screw in my shoulder to support the tare and thinning rotator cuff. I only had one physical therapy evaluation about four weeks after the surgery and chose to put off further therapy until this COVID-19 issue has gone, primarily because I am over 70. Still doing the exercises at home and feeling much better. I found him very caring and he took all the time necessary to answer my questions. I would "HIGHLY" recommend him as he is an "EXCELLENT" doctor!

Not good. Seemed rushed and not a lot of time to explain. I can research my butt off if doctor is willing to explain rational for recommendations. I won’t go back because the lack of professionalism on my clinic visit.l and fear he’s not doing right by me! If I’m just a number or paycheck-Don’t let me feel that way! I understand being busy but the visit was a disaster!

Had Rotator cuff surgery back in 2014, MRI showed severe bicep tendon issue as well, I thought after consultation before surgery this was going to be addressed at same time as rotator cuff.. As it is already going to be a tough recovery, might as well handle now!! Needless to say, he did not touch bicep tendon... it hasn't been right ever since, nor has shoulder. Now just doing another MRI to see how bad its gotten. I can assure you I wont be using DR. Hsiao again.

After 1 visit 2 weeks ago I told his assistant (can't talk to him, he's too busy) the 30 hydrocodone 5/325's he gave me don't touch the excruciating pain I have due to a herniated disc and fractured vertebrae. I have yet to hear back from him or his assistants. I would have gone somewhere else.

Talks very kindly to patients and explains procedures very well. Although he takes a while to come check on you for your visit it is well worth the wait.
