Dr Minista at Olympia Orthopedics gave me a new lease on life. Before my surgery I couldn’t walk more than a couple of feet without experiencing excruciating pain. It’s been 12 weeks since my surgery, & this week all restrictions were lifted. It’s been a couple of years since I’ve been able to garden, which is my passion, and this year I’m out there digging in the dirt with absolutely no pain. I get choked up sometimes, I am so happy to have my life back. I just absolutely love Dr Manista. He has a great sense of humor and is extremely nice. Angie Harold is an absolute Angel. They took such good care of me, I felt so safe in their care, my only regret is not having it done sooner.

Dr. Manista is a very highly qualified surgeon who truly cares about his patients. Friendly and gentle. A superb spinal surgeon. The best I have ever worked with.

Doctor was running late and explained and apologized for the inconvenience. Spent enough time with me and explored various ways of dealing with the issue of pain. Emerged from conversation with a positive outlook on the situation and plan was discussed to do strengthen exercises before seeing him again.

Dr Manista explained things well. Offered alternatives and described risks. Answered questions clearly. Was supportive and positive.

He finds answers and surgery is only offered when needed. He is the only surgeon I would trust my spine to.

Dr. Manista MD is what I call The People’s Doctor! I’m a retired disabled Washington State Social Worker. Not only is medically brilliant and caring, he will explain it to you so you understand it. He does all of this with a smile on his face. Dr. Manista’s entire surgery team likes their patients and will put you at ease educating you with every step if you have the pre surgery jitters. They even made my recent Carpal Tunnel surgeries fun. Get this! I was awake for the last procedure and did not feel a thing. Dr. Andrew Manista MD has even completed surgery on my neck. This MD has people and medical skills! I trust Dr. Manista MD with my medical safety and life. Choose this Doctor and will be you did it. He’s the best MD of the best.

Dr. Manista performed 7 spinal and neck surgeries on me from 2009-2018. Everything was going well until surgery #6 that crippled me for life. At this point I had rods and screws from the base of my head to my sacrum. He decided to remove my lumbar hardware and my back broke at T10. He performed another surgery to stabilize my spine. Shortly thereafter my back broke again at L2. I lost over 2' in height on my right side and I am now permanently disabled. I suffer with debilitating pain down my legs and arms, my arms go completely dead, severe low back pain, I can't stand up straight and I no longer have any confidence ir self esteem. Prior to the hardware removal, I was out dancing every weekend. He destroyed what is left of my life. He took everything away from me and I will never forgive him. With all of the surgeries we became very close. He was like a son and I cared about him deeply until he took my life away from me. A life I will never get back.

Dr. Manista is an excellent surgeon and nurturing human being. He was very through in explaining my spine issues and how he will fix the problems. I would highly recommend him for your back surgery. His support staff are also great to work with.

Dr. Minista did a previous neck surgery on me, which he had to do, since the original surgeon did not seem to want to fix. Thankfully Dr. Minista was there to do it & did a wonderful job. I am now starting to have a new issue with my neck elsewhere, & Dr. Minista was able to show me & explain to me what & where the new issue was. Dr. Minista is very knowledgeable & cares about his patients, as well as very professional.
