Dr. Bhakti Joshi, MD

As a health professional myself it does not give me any pleasure in writing such a review. I feel that not only is she dismissive. She is rude and talks down to you concerning very valid symptoms. I felt unheard and as if my health concerns did not matter to her. i’m not only do not recommend someone going to her. I would recommend her take a course and ethical procedures and and patient relations. It is very concerning that a doctor whatever treat patients such as myself as she has done. I also feel that as a healthcare provider, you owe it to your patience to be respectful and talk to them about their concerns and validate their feelings and concerns. She not only does not practice professional conduct. I hope that everyone reevaluate their choice as her as their provider.

If I could give her zeros stars, I would! Over an hour wait. Then dismissive. Made assumptions. Could have cared less about me being there.

I was so excited to see Dr Joshi to get a handle on some troubling symptoms. I told her that I have had fibromyalgia for 16 years and told her everything that was happening from July ‘23 on and I thought she listened but alas she did not. She was hyper focused on my Reynauds which was not giving me any issues. I had filled out a sheet with all of my issues and I had put chest pain. When she asked me about it I said that I get it from indigestion sometimes and my gastroenterologist is aware. It was not why I was there. I never felt that I was listened to. She basically said that if anything comes back from the bloodwork even if it’s a gray area she will treat it and if not she will up my Fibromyalgia meds. Nothing came back and I was told by her nurse to see a cardiologist and neurologist (that never came up at all). So I was basically dismissed. I thought she was supposed to up my meds? Awful experience and I do not recommend at all.

Dr. Joshi has been my Rheumatologist for nearly 3 years. She is very easy to talk to. She listens well. She validates your concerns. She makes me feel she’s my friend and she makes me feel I am important. Lucky to have her and lucky to meet her. I drive an hour and 15 , that’s 2 hours and a half total. I don’t mind. I go see her monthly because of my therapy.

Dr. Joshi is a true medical professional. She has an excellent knowledge base. She listens. Another outstanding quality is She takes into account patient treatment preferences. Treatment is individualized and explained exceptionally well.

I've been seeing Dr. Joshi for about a year now. She is very compassionate, listens carefully, and seems truly interested in helping with my health concerns.

Unfortunately, I didn't make it to see Dr. Joshi, though I was looking forward to my first office visit. Alas, when I called and spoke to the individual who runs their billing department, (because my insurance asked for a CPT code in order to give me an estimate for my cost for my first visit,) I was really confused by her behavior. The staff member was extremely rude and dismissive from the start, and stated that I shouldn't be asking for this, and she can't give me a code. I let her know that my insurance had asked me to get the code for the office visit, and she told me I just needed to come to the visit to see, that she cannot give me any codes. I asked again, explaining that I needed to know a cost estimate before attending the visit. She talked down to me, used an irritated tone, talked over me. After how she spoke to me, I ended up canceling the appointment because if the office employs someone who treats patients like this, I would do better at another office.
