Dr. Brad Nelson is not the average doctor, he demonstrates a very high level of knowledge and skill combined with a good bedside manner. He successfully treated my Mother for bladder cancer which required a radical cystectomy and provided her follow up care for over ten years, she is alive and well today. I have a brother with bladder cancer and I recently had a scare, but with a thorough evaluation by Dr. Nelson, I am confident that I am healthy. I am thankful Dr. Nelson is passionate about his work and providing quality service.

I've been seeing Dr Nelson for 1 1/2 years for prostate issues. During that time I have developed a high level of trust in his knowledge, experience, and personal character. Through his persistence, he caught my prostate cancer while it was at an early and very treatable stage. I had surgery for this condition recently and I have been pleased and surprised at the speed of my recovery. His support staff is well trained and personable. Office wait times are typically very short unless due to unavoidable emergencies. I am grateful that my primary care physician referred me to Dr. Nelson.

Dr. Nelson and staff were fantastic. They have a great bedside manner and getting into the office is quick and friendly. My first appointment was on a Thursday, and my first surgery was the following Tuesday. I believe that Dr. Nelson saved my life. There is nothing about any interaction I had with Dr. Nelson or any member of his staff that could have gone better.

After receiving a Prostate cancer diagnoses and discussing all the options with my local doctor I decided on robotic surgery, he then referred me to Dr. Bradford Nelson. During the initial appointment Dr. Nelson went over the procedure with us and answered all of our questions. The surgery went very well and I am very happy with Dr. Nelson and his PA Tom Eskelsen. The nurses and office staff were very compassionate and extremely helpful with everything. I highly recommend them.

Dr. Nelson is an excellent physician. He is confident, professional, caring and compassionate about both his patience and his practice. The level of urgency to take care of my kidney cancer was impressive. Follow up visit was also quick and to the point. The nursing staff at Deaconess were fantastic, and the office staff are professional yet personable. I highly recommend Dr. Nelson for any urological needs.

Initial visit went well except for a miscommunication due to the difference in how how we define sexually active. Now I have ED and he cares so little that he turned my care over to another doctor in his office and I have never seen or heard from him since my surgery. The surgery went well except he did not tell me that he was removing so much urethra that I lost a lot and I now have ED and he must not care because he would never see me. All follow up care was by one of his lackies! I would recomend him to anybody!

Dr. Nelson was referred to me by another excellent physician. I can tell you, as an ex RN, that great doctors refer to great doctors. Dr. Nelson is also HIGHLY thought of by the hospital nurses with which he works. I'm telling you...these are the insiders whom KNOW who the top experts are clinically. Dr. Nelson is one of these surgeons. He's not only excellent technically, he is a very kind and caring physician. I cannot highly recommend this physician enough.

Dr. Neslon performed the prostate exam and biopsy. He listened closely to my, and my wife's questions and comments. He explained the positives and risks of the available options without bias towards any particular option. He provided reference material, and also recommended publications and web sites. He concurred that a prostatectomy was appropriate for my age and biopsy. Surgery results were excellent, with rapid recovery. Excellent surgeon and friendly person.

When tests confirmed prostate cancer, I elected radical prostatectomy. 6 weeks later, PSA: "undetectable". Cancer no longer threatens. I enjoy full strength and mobility. Follow-up PSA tests will monitor any change. I am adapting to "pads" with strong anticipation of regaining full bladder control. What made it such a good experience (if surgery can be called such) was Dr. Nelson and his team's friendliness, willingness to listen and answer questions. Our three-hour drive was worth it.

I am a 72 year old patient of Dr. Nelson. Eventually I was referred to Dr. Nelson when I had blood in my urine. Since that time I have had 3 bladder cancer operations preformed by Dr. Nelson. At one of the operations he did a needle biopsy of my prostate and found prostate cancer. He did robotic surgery of the prostate and seems to have solved the problem for now. I still see him regularly to monitor both the bladder and prostate cancer. I would recommend him to anyone with urology problems

My experience with Dr Nelson and his PA Tom Eskelsen could not have been better. From my first appointment to the eight days in hospital and follow up after surgery he answered and listened to every question giving me all time I wanted to talk. Bedside manners between Dr Nelson and Tom were awesome and looked forward to them coming in. I would definitely recommend them to my family and friends not only for their knowledge but their compassion.

I was referred to Dr. Nelson by my primary Doctor. Dr. Nelson is extremely knowledgeable and worked with me to develop a medical program to assist me with my difficulties. He listened to me and answered all my concerns with sound advice which enabled me to have confidence that this plan was right for me, which turned out to be exactly what I needed. His performance as a surgeon was excellent!
