Jacksonville is very fortunate to have Dr. Cobb. He is an excellent, dedicated urologist and an extremely skilled surgeon. I have been Dr. Cobb's patient for years. During that time, Dr Cobb has surgically removed large kidneys stones twice, immediately relieving extreme back pain. I know I am fortunate to have such an outstanding doctor.

I recently had kidney stones lasered and all seemed to go well until I needed post surgical help; the answering service told me to call back after lunch and was so kind to provide the time when the staff will resume answering the phones- REALLY? I had surgery literally two hours earlier. Also, if you have any concerns post operatively, I hope you have a ride to the ER or able to take a lot of time waiting because they have no sense of what their patients need or what is urgent. Dr. Cobb came in post stone removal with his dirty lap top. Proceeded to don sterile gloves and pull my stent out without performing some hand hygiene...I was so shocked that words did not come out of my mouth and I know better than to let him touch me. The nicest people there is Dr. West and the surgeon Dr. Wessler that left the practice. This isn't an exhaustive list of the trouble at this clinic. Bottom line as questions before leaving the office. PERIOD.

Dr. Cobb wastes no time in diagnosing and then treating a urological problem, as he did in my situation. Other urologists tried to slow walk me through their procedures. I said to myself 'try Dr. Cobb and I hit the jackpot'. I am now only 10 days away from my final ' I hope' last appointment when he will say ' you're finished with everything'. Go home and enjoy your life.

Our son was diagnosed with testicular cancer. Dr Cobb was swift in rearranging surgical schedules and performed the necessary surgery. He thoroughly explained treatment for after surgery and put our minds at ease. This was such a shock but we couldn't have asked for better care. His staff specially his nurse Angela were just wonderful!!
