Not helpful. Dr Bernard had information of my condition from referral and his PT technician who had seen me earlier. He insisted on an MRi rather than reviewing my symptoms. Had MR, did not show problem, was given to a NP who gave me pain pills.

I came to ER late one Tuesday night in excruciating back and leg pain. As soon as the MRI was completed, the neurosurgeon on call, Dr. Bernard, had arrived, surgical team was in place, OR was ready. I had a rare condition; he had only completed two similar surgeries in his career but he exuded confidence with warmth and compassion. Surgery was a success. I am forever in debt to his surgical prowess.

Dr. Bernard is wonderful. He explains things very well and spends plenty of time with his patients. He did a great job with my back surgery and has given me a new lease on life.
