Dr. Cory Calendine, MD

The office staff was very efficient, kind and helpful. I got called back very quickly. The Dr came in shortly after that. He was very kind and listened well then showed me the X-rays and suggested surgery is what I needed. The scheduler calls you back 2 to 3 days after your appointment. I have friends that have highly recommended this doctor so I hope everything goes well for me

Spoke with Dr. Calendine. I drove 5 hours to see him, based on another patient's recommendation. Dr. Calendine was running late; came in, introduced himself quickly then just bluntly told me that I needed surgery. Spoke mainly to my husband, even when I was asking the questions. As I was speaking, he was shuffling papers and then interrupted my question to ask me to review and sign a sheet saying that he had covered certain areas in our discussion. He never showed me my xrays. I felt like I was on a very fast assembly line. Contrastingly, his staff was thorough and spoke with me directly. The staff followed up within a day to schedule a surgery to which I had not agreed. He is probably a great surgeon, but my concerns as a patient were not addressed. I was most concerned about my individual situation and how my problems would be addressed. He was most concerned with just doing the surgery and 'shot' down quickly each of my concerns and even the wording and research behind my concerns.

He was on his phone when I was asking questions. He looked at me when he spoke to me but I thought it was rude for him to be on his phone. I could have saved my time and money if the information regarding BMI was on his profile or on the website. Very disappointing appointment.

Dr Calendine was professional, friendly, and answered all my questions. His appointments were running on time - there was very little wait time. His staff was friendly and very efficient as well.

Dr. Calendine had scoped my right knee in 2017 and no problems at all. My left knee had been scoped by Dr. Ferrell in 2009 I believe, had been great until about a month ago when it began to swell. X- rays showed inflammation was from knee joints being close together. He gave the choices which included at a later date knee replacement and at present time a shot has shown good results in a lot of patients. I choose the shot and though it has only been a few days I can tell big difference so hopefully it will make take care of problems of knee for a good while. Wait time at beginning to end was probably 20 minutes max which includes consultation, x-rays and shot. Great job from everyone that I came in contact with. None finer in personal opinion.

I have seen Dr. Calendine before for knee issues. Everything went great.Most recently I was there for what I thought was a hip issue. It turned out to be a possible lower back issue. I received a steroid shot, which helped greatly. I was also scheduled for an appointment with a spine doctor.Dr. Calendine was very helpful, as was his support staff. I highly recommend them

I've been in pain for two years and had resolved to give up. Ballad Health in my area had failed me. They couldn't give me a diagnosis or a way to help the pain. I'd seen more doctors than I could count. To the point they were making me feel like this may be all in my head. Then I had seen his tic tock and watched his videos. I thought I'd try him and see what he said. I drove 5 hours to see him . They took my X-ray and I waited with my husband to meet him. He came in and looked at my X-rays and told me he knew exactly what was wrong with me. Bone on bone in my hip. I cried my eyes out. I don't think he understood the journey I've been thru to meet this brilliant doctor. Finally I had a diagnosis , and finally he made a plan for me to get this fixed. Thank you Dr. Calendine. Thank you can never be enough. You are absolutely brilliant and amazing. Please keep making those tic tocks. I know there are more people who like myself need a excellent Dr. As yourself.

Clean, well decorated, on time, professional, friendly, listens to what you say and answers all questions. Best Dr I have ever seen. Looks at us in the face and asks what can he do for us!!

Dr. Calendine is a great doctor. The staff was impressively efficient. I literally sat down, and my name was immediately called. I brought my x-rays on DVD from 2 weeks prior which he used to evaluate my condition. I watched all of his videos regarding hip replacement. I learned an incredible amount watching the videos and left the appointment with the impression this man is dedicated to his craft. I was hurried out when he found out I was getting a 2nd opinion, but you have to understand, like Jimmy Johns, he was moving freakishly fast to onto his next patient. I ultimately chose another doctor due to the hip replacement hardware, I felt, was better and more proven. Should I ever become in need of knee replacements, like The Terminator, I'll be back... You are in great hands with Dr. Calendine!

My visit with Dr Calendine went beyond my expectations. I walked into the examination room with a severely inflamed and painful knee. He was thorough and thoughtful, and concise and kind. I figured I needed a MRI, but upon looking at a x-ray I previously had taken he told me it wasn’t necessary and he proceeded to explain. Short version, he typically drains 2-3 cc's from an inflamed knee - he drained 32 cc’s. He didn't lecture as to why I waited so long. What a difference! After 24 hours, I'm able to take steps to upstairs without pain, going down I feel a twinge. I'm walking normal. He is an exceptional MD and I highly recommend him.

Every person I met was very nice. This was my first visit with Dr Calendine. My appointment was 8:30 and I was called back at 8:11. That’s awesome. They were very efficient. Very little to no waiting for X-ray and meeting with doctor. He was super personal. Showed me the X-ray in the room I was in and explained everything clearly. My condition does not need any surgery and he explained that very well. I’m very impressed with everything.

Dr Calendine asks questions and discusses options for treatment.He is honest and open about theresults that he expects for different treatments. He is friendly and upbeat and seems to really care about what's best for me. I'd recommend him to anyone!

Dr. Calendine and staff are wonderful, efficient and thorough. Dr. Calendine explained the two possible problems and informed me of the most probable one. He gave me a shot and explained the outcome. He said if this option was incorrect he explained the other option. He feels the second option is not likely, but wanted me to be aware. I greatly appreciated that. I highly recommend him!! Employees were efficient, kind and I was seen right away. Absolutely no wait. Such a highly unexpected experience for a doctors office
