Cataract surgery, right eye
I was nervous but from start to finish I was reassured by Dr. Lin and his associates. It turned out to be a very easy and quick operation with no pain at all. And no after effects. My vision, the clarity and perception of colors are stunning.

Wonderful Surgeon-Questionable Staff
When I saw his staff for my 2nd eye cataract surgery I found his staff, Asst. Dr. unsavory after a the very long testing process. That Dr. told me my eye wasn't a problem, disputed my description of how blurry my vision was night driving. When Dr. Lin came in he said I was borderline for surgery & left it up to me or not. He was totally congenial.I elected for surgery.Next I was called by his scheduler & that’s where it all went south. That person gave me a date & started reading off rules. He talked to me like I was a PFC in basic training. It would be kind to say he was rude. I was thrown off guard by his hard demeanor, about having an escort after surgery. When I asked him questions about that, as I didn’t recall my escort in 2021 COVID period, he said if you didn’t comply you will be “Blacklisted”! I couldn’t believe my ears! I never said I wouldn’t comply, just needed to explore options.Turns out later my date was cut! He said I was now Blacklisted for asking too many questions!

I found Dr. Danny Lin to be a little arrogant and brusque. He may be a competent enough eye surgeon (eye still in the process of healing almost two months after surgery), but I would hope any doctor who has practiced as many years would be able to perform routine cataract surgery. I understand he has numerous patients, but I felt like just another paycheck to him.

Dr. Lin did an outstanding job. I can see much better in both eyes. The results are the most important issues compared to other items. However, he was very good in describing what was to be done and checked with me after the procedure.

I just finished cataract surgery on both eyes, 2 weeks apart and now have 20/25 and 20/20 vision. My criteria was to be able to distance clearly, and for the first time in 60+ years I can! From the office staff to the days of surgeries, it was safe (for Covid reasons) and painless. I knew exactly what to expect from Dr. Lin and his steady hands are amazing. If you are on the border about your cataract or Lasik surgery, it is amazing to be able to see clearly.

Dr. Lin recently completed my cataract surgery. Throughout the entire process he listened to and addressed my concerns. Having had my first eye surgery done by a different doctor, this was a far superior experience. I would recommend him to my family & friends. And don’t let the busy office put you off. It’s not a style I’m used to, but they take good care of you in a friendly, professional and efficient manner.

I am legally blind w/o my glasses. Dr. Lin gave me my cataract surgery options which were limited because of my poor vision. It ended up being straight mono focus lenses. Even then, my lenses had to be specially ordered. I had no pain and minimal swelling from the surgeries. Follow up visits were done and things were great. Two weeks after my last surgery and I can do Sudoku and read the newspaper w/o glasses! I can work on the computer (like now) w/o glasses! This is great!

The service providers were excellent: friendly, patient and very knowledgeable. Very busy day, so the wait was long. Exactly two hours when done...be great if it was 1 hour or so. 2 hours was a little too long. By the time I saw the doctor, he seemed to be in a hurry.
