Dr. Zagunis’s office staff is very pleasant and efficient. The wait time was minimal and the staff was friendly. What I appreciated about Dr. Zagunis is he took the time to discuss my medical history and is looking for the origin of the pain, not just prescribing pain meds and sending me on my way. He did prescribe a shot which helped almost immediately in the meantime.

Condescending and arrogant non caring
He cares more about his ego and putting people down than treating patients. No wonder his waiting room is always empty. Treatment and care for patients is last on his priority list. You will have many appointments with no medication or action done to relieve pain. I wish we would have fired him after the 5th appointment. He refuses telemedicine and makes his patients drive

Fantastic program
When i first went to D Zagunis, i expected he would put me on narcotics. Absolutely not the case. We have been working together for 2 years on a series of anti-inflammatory and ablation procedures on my 9 compromised discs. Dr Z is highly attentive and compassionate. His anesthiologist Josh, is a jewel; im so afraid to be put to sleep and he walks me thru it. Stephanie, his nurse practitioner is empathetic, calming, and returns my calls quickly. The office staff and the nursing staff significantly contribute to the calm office atmosphere. I am very grateful to Dr Z and his crew. Because of them, i can walk. I was able to hike with my grandson in Yellowstone. I can sleep at night. I feel as if I have my life back. Thank you Dr Z et al

An excellent physician in his chosen field. I have been his patient for many years. He listens, delivers and cares. His staff are highly efficient and very pleasant. This is an excellent choice for anyone with pain. You’ll love everyone there! I am very selective in my choice of physicians as my father was one as well.

My 84 y mom with memory issues was to have a procedure but staff would not let me go with her as usual. They said they call. I’m waiting in car and finally get worried. I go to check and staff said they sent her down alone an hour ago! I run to lobby and finally find her wandering around. If she had come looking for my car she would have become confused cuz I kept chasing the shade. Not one member of the staff came to look for her! They did call to check. Happy ending....but when I think what could have been.....

I can't say enough about the professionalism and utter desire to help for Dr. Zagunis. He and his entire staff care deeply about their patients and are dedicated to helping. I have been seeing Dr. Zagunis for more than a decade and with each visit, I am more impressed with the obsessive attention everyone in the office pays to a patient. Just wish there were more stars I could select.

Dr,Zagunis . Is a very caring doctor. He not only told me I need surgery now!!!. He left my MRI on the screen and showed me what;s happening. Guess what he was totally right Matter of fact he didn't even want to give me shots. He said you need surgery. I call Dr, Z my angel doctor. Holly is just as much as a sweetheat as the Dr, Z for that matter the whole staff was great, Today it's been seven months and I'm getting back to me. Thank ya'll Dr. Z's office. Sherrie Sahm SATX.

I finally decided I was getting the run around, after five visits (an hour each way) and a high co pay. I had one ineffective treatment. Was told by the PA that they would give me a pain medication in a different route. Instead, when I show up the Doc says it is an exploratory injection and because I was not currently in pain, I would have to come back again. NO ONE EVER TOLD ME I HAD TO HAVE THE PAIN ON ANY OF MY VISITS. I told him the worst pain is around midnight, could I see him then. NOT

Dr.Z is not a give u a bunch of pills and send you on your way kind of doc. He goes off imaging and can pinpoint exact problem areas and his injections have been extremely effective for me over the years. Being on pain killers long term is a death sentence, it's refreshing to have a doctor that cares about your health long term. I would recommend him to anyone wanting to be healthy and pain free, not turned into addicts.
