Dr. Nagler great, secretary very rude
I have seen Dr. Nagler for a number of years and he has always taken care of things for me very promptly. What is very discouraging about the practice is the secretary. You shouldn't cringe when you make a call to your doctor's office but I do. I think they hired a new gal so hopefully the current one while leave. When you are in the mental health business, a pleasant and kind attitude would be very appreciated.

Dr. Nagler is very nice, but he seems to shrug off serious complaints or worries regarding medication side effects. I often feel he isn't solid in his decision-making and doesn't seem to be up to date on the facts of current medications or their potential side effects. While he is very nice to talk to and genuinely caring, his receptionist is beyond grouchy. It's actually intimidating to talk to her because you never know if she is going to make you feel bad for making the decision to ruin her day by calling her. Also, don't expect a call back for at least 4-7 days, should you leave a message for any reason for either Dr. Nagler or Barbara. I'm trying to find a new psychiatrist because I can't stand the rudeness or incompetency anymore.

While Dr. Nagler helped me to navigate the significant transitions in my life for the last couple of years, he became more than a beacon and a sounding board, but a fascinatingly effective cognitive expert on living and sleeping life to the fullest -- without medication dependence. He's not only guided me seamlessly toward the healthiest path toward dependent-free living and sleeping, but he became, in my esteemed view, one of the most precise and well-composed professionals in my wide network of Maine leaders, ever. I'm forever indebted.

I've seen Dr. Nagler for a while, and while he is very nice and easy going, I often feel he doesn't address the concerns I bring up. The most frustrating thing is it seemingly takes days to get a call back if you leave a message. I've left 3 messages between Monday and Friday, never got a call back. His receptionist can be very rude and acts as if your talking to her is the biggest annoyance. I'm currently looking for a new psychiatrist.
