Dr. Dennis Eschete, MD

I'm not one to be sensitive or easily offended, but I am one to make sure that removing an organ is the last possible option before doing so. I asked Dr. Eschete for clarification about my diagnosis and he pulled out a chart, pointed to it, and said I'd need surgery. I inquired whether there were any non-surgical options I could explore first. He said no and left the room. In came a nurse with a patient release form she wanted me to sign. I told her I needed more time to think it over and that I wasn't yet comfortable signing. He then came back into the room, condescendingly asked what else I needed to know, and after reiterating I'd need more time to consider, he laughed and said, 'Yeah, you'll be back.' ...I won't be. Being ill and coordinating with doctors is unfortunately my 'full time job' and has been for over the last decade. There is no excuse for this level of dismissive disrespect from someone who is meant to be a caretaking professional. Some people aren't in it for people.

Dr. Eschete came highly recommended and he did not disappoint. The visit was focused and informative. What can I say about Dr.Eschete, he is one in a million.. He has a heart of gold ,very compassionate and he makes you feel like, if you need need me I am here and I Got you... NEVER! I had an appointment because I have ulcers and needed a surgical evaluation. Without looking at my results, he said 'I don't know why you are here...you only want to have surgery". The reason I was there was because he was the dr that performed an emergency surgery on me to repair a perforated ulcer. I didn't want to go through that experience again! So, I wanted to make sure I wasn't headed down the same road...but, he was cruel, rude and dismissed me.
