NEW patients accepted UNLESS your on Medicare
Called to make an appointment as a NEW Patient today 6/20/23. Website claims she is taking new patients specifically indicates accepts Medicare patients. Upon calling office they also checked, and confirmed she is taking new patients, HOWEVER there are no openings or AVAILABLE appointments until the year 2025!!! YES 2025!! I'm Sure it has to do with me being newly enrolled in Medicare!! Healthcare is out of control, ridiculous and the lack of concern doctors have these days due to insurance issues is SHAMEFUL!l!!!!

A wonderful caring physician
I found Dr. Defusco to be outstanding! She was interested in my medical history and spent an unusual amount of time listening to me. I was thoroughly impressed. She gave me some homework which seemed most appropriate. I look forward to seeing her again in two months. I am so happy to have found her.

On my mother’s behalf during an emergency situation, tried to get thru to Dr. DeFusco, or at minimum, her triage nurse, in order to get a message to the doctor. After 2 futile hours on the phone with Hartford Healthcare call center/answering team - absolutely no luck getting any support or an effective call back by any triage nurse or off hours team. Total failure.

I really liked Dr defusco. I thought she was a caring compassionate doctor, until she left Broadway Medical and left all her patients in the dust. Left us not knowing anything nor where she was going or if we needed to look for another doctor. I think all her patients are in shock and disappointed in her.

Definitely the most thorough physician I have ever had. Friendly, caring and takes the time to listen and works with you. Never any pressure to take drugs. I wouldn’t see anyone else.
