Triple bypass 17 years ago
2006: First meeting inspired confidence, so I agreed to let him do a triple bypass on my main coronary artery. Dr. Sisto's triple bypass is still in great shape 17 years later!

On April 17, 2019 I was brought to Portsmouth Hospital via ambulance from Wentworth Douglas in Dover, NH. My aorta had burst and my chances were slim, about 10% according to what my husband remembers. Lucky for me Dr. Sisto was on that evening and 12 hours later I was still alive. I don't remember much, but when they rolled me out of the ER I can remember the most peaceful feeling and I prayed for my brain to be ok when I came out. I think it was 3 to 4 days before I remember anything. I had very little pain, but my legs were not working as they did before, spinal stroke is what I was told. I vaguely remember seeing Dr. Sisto in the ICU once but never after, so I didn't get to thank him. Today - one year later - I am walking with a cane or sometimes a walker, but I am walking and able to drive my car. I want to send my greatest appreciation to Dr. Sisto, Dr. Peron and the rest of the team who saved my life. I owe you each a hug. Thank you so much for your hard work. Love

I met Dr. Sisto about 1 1/2 years ago. I was having heart problems and he was recommended to me by my cardiologist. My visit was excellent. Dr. Sisto and his staff are compassionate and knowledgeable. I trust them all. I believe I am still alive because of the Dr. and his staff. So grateful to have met them.

Had a CT scan with contrast done, visit went well! What was even better is that I went from getting the CT to seeing the doctor all in one visit. That was great as I live an hour from the hospital and return trips are a pain. Dr Sisto went over the CT with me, answered my questions, took his time, I never felt rushed. Good experience, start to finish!

I would highly recommend CC&VS, my experience with this team was remarkable from prior to my surgery to this point in time, 2 1/2 months after surgery. The level of patient care is amazing even on a Sunday afternoon when I called their office with a concern. Prior to surgery I was completely informed about all aspects of the procedure, after surgery I was also completely informed about everything that was done, during a very difficult time I feel I had the best care possible.

Dr. Sisto performed recently a TAVR procedure on my dad, who is 93. He spent an entire hour during the initial consultation to learn everything he could, and to explain all aspects of the process to us in great detail. The level of personal attention we received throughout the process was OFF THE CHARTS. So was the result, my dad recovered very quickly, and is a happy camper. Dr. Sisto is an extraordinary physician, very highly recommended!
