Dr Gabriel performed my L5 S1 fusion surgery. I have my life back. He ensured that I had everything in place to make sure I had a successful recovery. I was back to work 32 days post op and feel great.

I had a horrible experience at Baptist Health with the neurosurgery department. When I met Dr. Gabriel at ASV, I could easily observe the difference and his compassion to help me feel better. After viewing an MRI, I was quickly diagnosed with a ruptured disc at C7 - T1. He explained options but was honest in saying that surgically repairing this area would deliver the best relief. I have been slowly recovering after a cervical fusion but feeling so much better now. I will certainly return to Dr. Gabriel’s office if other issues arise down the road.

The Doctor and his staff we wonderful and made me feel very confident.

My husband was a patient of Dr Calvin Hudson until his retirement. Although there will never be another dr like him, we do like Dr Gabriel. Melanie going to work for him told us alot. He’s replaced two morphine pumps. They were both successful. We trust him! For a dr to be good he doesn’t have to be your best friend so to speak. He’s friendly but gets to the point. I can’t say enough about Melanie. She’s awesome! She works with scheduling around sickness or other issues. She’s very caring. She always asks about our family and loves to see grandkids pictures. We are in and out in a timely manner. She gets the job done well! I’ve never met anyone unfriendly. We’ve had two drs with very bad outcomes and my husband doesn’t trust drs easily. I would recommend him to anyone needing surgery. Nothing bad to say about this practice. You always get great professional care from the front to the back!

I've been with Melanie from day one when she was with Dr Hudson and when he retired she went to Dr Gabriel and he is a very good Doctor who listen and Nicole is nice and polite at the front desk and friendly. Wouldn't trade any of them ,they are always there for me .I've a morphine pump and had it for 22 years and I recommend him and his staff ,they are wonderful and I don't see anybody saying something bad about them.LOVE THEM ALL

Both Dr. Gabriel snd Nurse Melanie were thoughtful and nice. Dr. Gabriel listen to all my concerns with my issues and explained what needed to be done and I was happy with the answers he gave me.

Dr Gabriel truly cares about his patients and their well-being. Nurse Melanie is the nicest and most caring nurse I have ever seen. Most doctors are all business and rush you. Dr Gabriel takes his time to listen and help with your problems. Melanie is the same and even asks how your family is doing. You will not find a better office to go to!

Had my pain pump refilled and Mealanie is awesome, she makes the whole process enjoyable and pain free, by far the best nurse in the business

When you first meet Dr. Gabriel, he will strike you as "all business". His line of questioning is to the point and very brief and he does not normally "chit - chat" during the examination. He has earned my trust and confidence ... let me briefly explain that comment. I had undergone surgery by a neurosurgeon and at a hospital that were assigned to my case by the insurance company. Long story - short, after the surgery, that surgeon informed my wife that there was a "minor complication" during the procedure. After 5 months and a second surgery by the same Dr. and hospital, I was in worse condition than when I started and had gained a phobia about letting anyone "cut", or about staying in in the hospital. Dr. Gabriel was recommended by one of my regular doctors. Dr. Gabriel understood what I had been through and was able to allay most of my fears. Two surgeries and several visits later, Dr. Gabriel has my highest trust and recommendation ( I found his sense of humor too!).

Dr Gabriel is what you would expect in a doctor. He is through, cares about your well-being and talks to you like you matter and not just another number. highly recommend!

Dr Gabriel is a great example of what you’re looking for in a Dr. He is direct and trustworthy, He values your health and does surgery only when necessary, I wouldn’t allow anyone else to have surgery on me unless it was an emergency. Your body is important to Dr Gabriel. I’ve been his patient for over 10 years, Back surgery only once. Thank you Doctor!!

Good visit very informative consise of

My initial visit recently I found that the doctor was patiently listening to my explanation of my situation. He gave me my options and I agreed to his second option. I appreciate his information and look forward to future visits.

From my first visit, though my L4/L5 spine fusion to the first follow up I felt cared for. He is excellent about seeing me though one of the scariest times in my 70 years. I am still under his care and so happy he is my doctor.

I had a relatively simple procedure done by Dr. Gabriel. He was very professional and answered any questions or concerns I had. We both agreed that a more invasive procedure was not necessary. I appreciate his honest- straight forward approach. I have complete trust in Dr. Gabriel.

Dr. Eric Gabriel has been my doctor for many years. He has always been professional and still warm and caring for his patients. He listens and answers all of our questions about my health and procedures to be done. He implanted a Morphine Pump and it has relieved so much of my chronic pain. The staff goes above and beyond all dealings with me. I have never had any complaints about them. A truly wonderful staff! Melanie is an RN and takes care of my pump. Refilling every month with the least possible discomfort. I am blessed finding this medical team!!

I've had two different back surgeries/fusions from Dr Gabriel. I wouldn't trust another neurosurgeon to operate on my back because Dr Gabriel is the BEST!!! He is a man of few words so people should understand that going in but if you want a smart Dr that knows what he's doing and can have you standing straight and tall after surgery, Dr Gabriel is your doctor!!! He doesn't make small talk, he doesn't go through the hype that a lot of other doctors do. If you want that type then Dr Gabriel isn't for you nor will you get the best of care for your back needs by going to doctors like that. If you need back surgery with a back that's been through the paces, Dr Gabriel is the only neurosurgeon I trust 200% to operate on my back!! He has completed two different areas five years apart, this one as of yesterday, and I'm up after surgery walking 350 ft WITHOUT pain standing straight and tall!!! Dr Gabriel is a miracle worker and I will praise his knowledge and expertise! THANK YOU DR GABRIEL!!

The receptionist that accepts new patients is complete garbage. She never answers her phone, and when she does, she’s rude, puts you on immediate hold with nothing said and never gets back, or never returns phone calls when an appointment is needed. For Dr Gabriel to be held in such high regard, his office staff needs serious improvement.
