Dr. Patel called me back on July 7, 2021 to discuss my father. I asked him why testing or an evaluation was not done on my father due to his enlarged prostrate. I was disappointed because my father received a letter dated June 28, 2021, stating that his PSA levels were abnormally high that could result in prostate cancer. I am listed as the person of authorization, so I have the right to talk to the doctors. Dr. Patel was very offended and said that I was not even at the appointment, so I do not know what I am talking about. He said he will only discuss the nature of my call with his patient and said I insulted him. He talked over me loudly and did not even allow me to finish my sentence. In my opinion, he talked down to me and did not even take the time to discuss my father's heath issues. I am so outraged at the way he conducted himself with a Kaiser members person of authorization. I would not recommend him as a doctor. Even if I don't know Urology, he could have been decent to me.
