Dr. Sorokin performed two procedures on me during surgery at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas.1. Transurethral Cystolithotripsy (Large stone removal from the bladder)2. Transurethral Resection of the Prostate (TURP) (Prostate reduction)I had super high anxiety going into this surgery. I was worried about pain, outcome, quality of life post operations, and many other things. Dr. Sorokin is a true gentleman. He was kind, patient, and understanding of my anxiety and all of my questions when we met. He made me feel at ease; there were no unanswered questions before I went to the operating room. I loved his sense of humor. It's one thing to have a brilliant surgeon (which he is), but it's another thing to have a brilliant surgeon who is down to earth, has a sense of humor, and cares genuinely about the well-being of their patients. That is who Dr. Sorokin is. If you have a choice, choose Dr. Sorokin. I had no pain and feel great!! He is world-class and cares!!!!

I recently had a simple robotic prostatectomy with Dr. Sorokin. When I first met him, he gave me an honest assessment of my condition. Although he is a surgeon, I did not get the impression that he was pushing me into surgery. Instead, he ordered necessary tests, and only when he was sure that surgery was the right option for me did he schedule me for surgery. The surgery went so well that I did not notice the incision until days later and, when I returned for a follow-up visit with him six weeks later, he too had to find the incision! Suffice it to say that I give Dr. Sorokin my highest recommendation.

Dr. Sorokin is everything that you want in a doctor. He is well rounded and does not hesitate to advocate for his patient's needs. My first appointment with him, I sensed that he had an inkling of what might be going on with me. He wasted no time, ordered the necessary tests and phoned me often to explain everything he was ordering and why. Five months later he performed surgery. All along the way he way truly amazing.
