Perplexed
The most difficult and perplexing appointment I have ever had. I came in with a flare up and symptoms and was dismissed, made to feel like I was making it up, and treated more rudely than I have ever experienced. I even had a follow up call to one of my questions about a lab value and she made some rude, sassy remarks. I am a nurse with knowledge of my disease and shared information about natural things that helped, but that seemed to make her treat me as though I knew nothing my body. It was clear she was the dr. and had her mind made up, and I was an idiot. I believe she is following a more natural approach now. The attitude and treatment was shocking and hurtful like no human should be treated.

A huge waste of 20 months of my life. I have inflammatory erosive osteoarthritis and quite possibly ankylosis spondylitis. My conditions are chronic and will never go away. This is what she’s done for me in 10 months suggested turmeric, ginger, magnesium and vitamin E which I do take. She has prescribed me vitamin D and 2.5 mg of prednisone ( less than my daughters cat is prescribed). This is her idea of treating my chronic , intensely painful progressive disease. I called today to reschedule my appointment due to a cardiologist appointment the same day and instead asked to be changed to a different Dr. the receptionist was very sympathetic and scheduled me with another rheumatologist in the Samaritan practice.

Ingrid Hall listened to my concerns, made good notes, and seemed genuinely interested in making sure her diagnoses were accurate. She spent a good deal of time listening and I feel comfortable with her decisions. If you need to contact her between visits, however, your messages will never make it to her. Not written, not phone calls.

Dr. Hall would not listen about the various symptoms I had. She had made up her mind and my symptoms did not match her diagnosis. My appointments with her were a huge waste of my time. I was diagnosed correctly with CNS Lupus at the University of Michigan.

I went through 3 rheumatologist’s before I found Dr. Hall. I absolutely love her! She listens & pays attention to everything I have to say & we work together to come to resolutions to my issues. I am truthful with her & she doesn’t pull any punches! She’s my go-to gal...she regulates my immune system & if I question any of my other physicians about medications or procedures, I have them check with her first so nothing interferes with my Lupus & my well-being! Definitely recommend her!!!

I adore Dr. Hall. She is the best doctor I have ever experienced when it comes to bedside manner. She takes her time & is thorough! Every visit explains pros and cons of potential treatments to the hubby and I. Helps me make informed decisions with my health. Messages left with front office don’t always get to her. But if you contact her thru the portal, she promptly gets back to you. She calls me personally, not her staff. Anyone looking for a RA or auto immune doctor she contact her.

Dr. Hall is my favorite doctor. She is very thorough and professional, and takes a lot of time in her examinations, and listens well. We worked together on my medical options after diagnosis, and I appreciated her taking my diet into consideration as well, as that was important to me. It is wonderful to find a competent, trustworthy and relatable doctor.

Dr. Hall is an amazing dr! She spends lots of time doing a thorough physical exam and explaining what she is wanting to do. She is friendly, personable and easy to talk to. I have to plan lots of time in my schedule for appointments but that is because she takes all the time necessary to make sure I understand everything and answering any questions I have. I don't mind waiting if I know she will spend as much time with me as with the other patients. I love her!

She always would tell me she was going to do something to help me and never did. She promised to get me into PT and didn't. She promised referrals to other docs and I never got them. When I would go for appointments she would ask how certain meds were going and she never even prescribed me the meds she asked about. With this happening more than once, she diagnosed me AND treated me (steroid injections) for osteoarthritis without any proof I had it. I was confused but she was the doctor.

She unprofessionally called me to accuse me of something I didn't do and tell me she didn't think it was a good idea to treat me and cut off all my medications at the pharmacy. The ones I depend on and could withdraw from. I had to call to get her to give me a script to get me through the weekend until I could see my primary doctor. During the appointment I had with her the same day, she got very impatient with me and I cried the entire 3 hours I was there because of the way she treated me.
