Profit Oriented, Not Health Centered
My son had an issue at the ER that had occurred in the past. Previous specialist and PCPs said he would be fine without surgery. The night the incident occurred Dr. Nosnik was the dr.on call. He blew up my phone for three days beginning at 8 am the day after the ER night stay saying we needed EMERGENCY SURGERY. He sounded like a sleazy car salesman on the phone. The barrage of calls and the eagerness and joy on the phone and voicemail was creepy. I've never heard someone so enthusiastic and pushy for an unnecessary surgery. All he could think about I think was his profit if he billed the insurance. Once I finally responded and said no, he did not offer to send paperwork or help in coordinating with another specialist. Once the profit opportunity was no longer available, the interest disappeared.

Dr. Nosnik always rushes through visits. He also rushes through question answers. He is very bad about interrupting and talking over you. He also talks down to you. He's all over the place, and can be misleading and contradictive. Check the patient portal for your visit reports notes or your child's progress notes and phone call notes because they do not always match up honest to what he'd said/you've said during visits and/or over the phone.

Dr. Nosnik performed my son’s surgery in February 2020, right before the lockdown & pandemic. His staff did an excellent job communicating with me prior to the day of surgery. And on the day of surgery, Dr. Nosnik displayed excellent bedside manner & addressed every concern our family had. Highly recommend this doctor!

Do not have your child seen by Dr. Israel Nosnik, he was absolutely terrible, very unprofessional and in a super rush.. he treated my 4 year old son very poorly, my son is truly terrified of the Doctors now. My son was in pain for two days after the appointment and he could not even sleep at night properly due to the pain. I am glad we didn't have to do a follow up appointment with him as I’ll never take my son back to see him and I certainly won’t recommend him to anyone. Dr. Nosnik did was talking so fast it was hard to grasp the information he was giving, and there was no details sent to my son's PCP about the treatment recommendations he made during the appointment. I believe he's a nice guy but I think he really needs to work on his approach and bed side manners.

Dr. Nosnik told me the frequent UTIs our pediatrician referred my child for weren't a concern because maybe having bacteria in her urine is just my child's normal and the UTI symptoms and severe pain that accompany a urine culture and UTI diagnosis from her dr. are a coincidence. He referred her for testing and when I called the clinic they said they didn't know why he would order that test because it won't identify what he's looking for. Also it costs $3,600 plus doctor reading charges and insurance won't cover any of that since the child shows no symptoms of any of the conditions it identifies. A few weeks after the appt we received a bill from Dr. N's office which seemed odd since Dr. Nosnik's office requires the appt be paid for in full before he'll see the child and I did. The total billed amount was over 1k and listed an 80 min consult. The "after visit summary" I received at check out had a print time that proved we were out the door less than an hour after our appt start time.

Dr. Nosnik recently completed a surgery for our infant son. Great communication before/day of/and after the procedure. Everything went perfectly the day off the surgery, his recovery was very fast with almost no visible scars from the procedure. Great team of professionals involved in the surgery as well, the nurses and anesthesiologist were very friendly and made sure we were informed. I mention this because it is reassuring to me that Dr. Nosnik associates with an equally competent team.

Fantastic! Our twins had to be circumcised at 9 weeks old and Dr. Nosnik and his fabulous nurse Michelle put this Mom at ease immediately. Surgery went very well and Dr. Noznik even offered to be available after hours/on weekend if we needed him or had any questions. So appreciate him!

Really kind doctor with great bed side manner. Dr Nosnik put my 11 year old son completely at ease and took plenty of time to explain everything and answer all his questions. Follow up was fantastic and the office staff very helpful.
