Dr. Jerome Zechmann, MD

I was looking for a referral to the pain management clinic. I knew this was a non-surgical case and stated to the scheduler.. She said it was ok to see him. Waste of money on X-ray and $200 brace. Joint paint is a top symptom of Long Covid. This practice only cares about surgical cases and all the extras like diagnostic imaging. 2nd and last time I trust them. Made me feel worse.

Dr Zechmann listened carefully and rapidly narrowed down potential diagnosis's with ways to address each one - starting with the most easily remediated, and treated, to ascertain the function, before moving onto more intensive or extensive processes! I appreciated his direct and informative approach.

Dr. Zechmann is very professional but also very caring. He did an excellent job on my knee replacement. One year after surgery I had put over 1800 miles on it and he said it was still in excellent condition. Would highly recommend him.

I was recommended Dr. Zechmann from a couple of his prior patients. Especially one who had the SuperPath surgery. This was my first visit with Dr. Zechmann. Dr. Zechmann came well prepared to discuss my upcoming hip replacement surgery. I felt very comfortable during the visit and I’m looking forward to have the SuperPath surgery done.

I came in with a fractured kneecap ready to do battle with anyone recommending surgery or cortisone. He made me feel at ease, explained in very basic understandable terms what was going on and suggested things I could do to improve my situation. He was a very kind and easy going guy. Highly recommend.

I have a complicating low back pain issue and found Dr. Zechmann easy to work with sorting out my needs. Staff was great getting my SuperPath hip replacement scheduled and I’m off to PT and a good recovery. I highly recommend him he has so much skill and knowledge and training if you have to get a joint replacement done I highly recommend him I would trust him with my own children. He is also so very nice kind and understanding.

I first saw Dr. Zechmann about 2 years ago with what I thought was a hip injury. Turns out it was arthritic degenerative joint disease. At that time it was too early to consider total hip replacement, plus I needed to get my bmi to a 'safe for surgery' level. I continued conservative treatment and worked on losing weight as the hip got worse. Finally, the time came for a total hip using the SuperPath process which is an amazing surgical procedure! Nerve and muscle-sparing approach as well as not dislocating the joint in order to install the replacement parts means a super fast and easy recovery! I am grateful to Dr. Z for using this technique and his office for making it all happen so seamlessly! All of his team are available and helpful throughout the entire process. I will recommend him to anyone I ever see limping!

I knew any time I had an appointment scheduled with Dr. Zechmann and his staff my condition was always the important issue on their minds.

He always takes time to cover all my concerns and questions. He listens and is compassionate.

Dr. Zechmann performed both my total hip replacements last year (2022) using the SuperPATH approach. He is the only surgeon that does this procedure anywhere around. He listened to my concerns, explained everything very well, and was compassionate and caring. He also rocks the Hawaiian shirt ;)

Knee problem. Dr. Zechman understood my issue, recommended care and is being extremely helpful. I am midway through treatment, and so appreciate his expertise and that of his staff.

A little slow today in providing a cortisone shot but excellent with description of procedure (referencing x-rays and prior cortisone injections) and then describing to the visiting doctor what to expect and feel for while injection was taking place. I learned a lot from hearing them describe my procedure!

Took the time, insight, and good enough conversation to find out what was really going on. Maintained professionalism, as well, when knowing what was an actual need to know. Overall, he also maintained a suitable ambience, and need to care.
