Dr. Kenneth Kozlow, MD

Dr Kozlow was kind and understanding. I've been suffering for 4 years and no Dr's would touch me. He viewed all my scans and is optimistic he can help me. Surgery date June 2nd and I'm hopeful and praying for a new beginning!

My Spinal Surgery was a 100% success. I am the teams biggest fan. I had terrible low-back, left hip and leg pain. Now at 72, no pain, it’s a new chapter.

Eight weeks ago I had a spinal stabilization surgery with Dr Kozlow. Prior to surgery he gave me a very clear explanation of what surgery was necessary and why. He went through all of my imaging with me and answered all of my questions. Since my surgery I have had complete relief of nerve pain in my leg. I am healing well. He has given my good guidance for my follow-up care. I never feel like he is too rushed to talk to me. I feel like he is an excellent surgeon and with the skill of being able to explain things very well.

I instantly felt comfortable on the first visit with Dr. Kozlow. I have had two appointments with Dr. Kozlow and already feel comfortable with him performing my upcoming surgery. He is very informative, easy to understand and takes the time to explain what my surgery will entail and the recovery diagnosis will be. He has excellent Doctor-Patient rapor. I feel like I am in good hands.

I struggled to get an appointment or call back from surgeons recommended by my primary. After waiting over 4 weeks a friend and former patient of his recommended him. When I called and explained my situation I was instructed to dropped off a copy of my MRI. He reviewed it within 24 hours and I was able to see him that week.He has changed my life. He relieved my chronic pain of five years and has given me my life back. I highly recommend!

Dr. kozlow really helped ease my fears and answered all my questions in a way I could understand. I'm very pleased with the approach he did with decompressing my spinal cord. The surgery went really well and I can't thank him and his team enough. Him and his team really helped restore my faith back in drs.

I left a 5 star review after my pre-op consultation visit with Dr. Koslow a few months ago. After surgery, I am again leaving another 5 star review. I chose Dr. Koslow after reviewing many orthopedic surgeons on-line and I am glad I made the choice to have Dr. Koslow perform my surgery. I was in incredible pain for more than a year before surgery—pain that started ramping up 5 years ago. PT and Injections did not help. I put off surgery for a long time because I was afraid of the 'horror stories' I had heard about back surgery. 12 days out, I have no more excruciating back pain! Other than a bit of expected post-surgery minimal soreness, I am feeling pretty good!!! I highly recommend Dr. Koslow. He is a spine specialist and he is who you want as an orthopedic surgeon for your back. Also, my surgery was performed at Blodgett Hospital. This is my second experience with Blodgett and I can't say enough great things about the nursing, OT & PT staff at this place!

Dr. Kozlow did a great job with my surgery but his office is really poorly run. Among the issues: they notified my short-term disability carrier that I was a no-show for surgery the same week that I had surgery. They don't return phone calls in a timely manner, if at all. I was notified that a cat scan had been scheduled - with the wrong hospital even though I provided the information in writing. It was exhausting dealing with them.

He is quick and makes great decisions.

After spending days in the hospital and having an injection of cement done in my back my discharge papers instructed me to follow up with Dr. Kozlow. I called to follow up and was denied an appointment. I was told to go to a radiologist or my PCP and that I was not his patient yet my insurance was billed by him. for over $300 because apparently I was his patient while I was in the hospital. it was one of the most frustrating experiences I’ve ever had from the start with his office staff and ending with what his office staff said his message to me.

Dr Kozlow has a wealth of skill and knowledge. He has performed 2 surgeries on my back both of which went well and prolonged my need for fusion far longer than expected. I am now considering a fusion and I would trust nobody else even though I have been seen at the Mayo Clinic. I also rate his entire staff as exceptional and extremely invested in their patient’s health and recovery.

I don’t really know much about his skill level yet. I’m scheduled for surgery. I hope he isn’t in a hurry during surgery like he was at my last appt. Talking so fast when listing things such as side effects and risks that my brain couldn’t keep up

Dr Kozlow did a great job putting my neck back together after it was broken in a car accident. The healing process after surgery has been quick and low pain. I would recommend Dr Kozlow.

After searching several neurosurgeons, we were referred to Dr. Kozlow from a Northern Mi ortho surgeon. Answered all our questions, explained the procedure and assured us he knows his "stuff". His staff is amazing and you are treated like family. Great experience from beginning to end. Would highly recommend Dr. Kozlow.

We saw Dr Kozlow for a second opinion and were reassured and impressed with his knowledge, explanation, and down to earth approach to the patient. He assured us and reconfirmed that surgery was the best option for the severe stenosis that my mother suffers from.

Dr. Kozlow did a reconstructive infusion, more than half my back, September 7. my lower spine was shaped like a squished c and I Scoliosis. Dr. Kozlow and his medical team did a fantastic job on the surgery. It has been 3 weeks and the nerve pain that I had previous to surgery is gone. I am walking and standing straighter. I am so Happy with the out come of the surgery he performed! I recommend Dr. Kozlow and OAM to all who need any form of Orthopedic medical needs, I rate 5 stars.
