Very professional. Very accurate diagnosis. Answers all questions and explains treatment in detail. Follows through to making sure patient is well cared for getting professional therapy before and after surgery when needed.

I must express the thoughts and opinions of myself and my family concerning my husband's surgery for hydrocephalus. First surgery scheduled for July 2023 with Dr. Sethi, unfortunately , Sethi was 'called away ' and a 'traveling neurosurgeon' was called in to do the surgery. In hindsight, we should have canceled the surgery a nd waited for Sethi to return. Vary long story short, the first shunt was defective and September 2023 Dr. Sethi performed the 2nd surgery to replace the defective unit. My husband continued to suffer and never regained any quality of life. We had been at Dr. Sethi's office several times a month between July 2023 and September 2024 for follow ups and adjustments. We are very disappointed there was no acknowledgement from him or the office on his passing, but maybe I'm expecting too much. He passed away September 10, 2024. My advice to anyone, get a 2nd, even 3rd opinion before having any kind of brain surgery.

Unprofessional

My husband and I are both patients of Dr Sethi. Every single person in his office has been friendly, professional, helpful and makes us both feel like we are in the best hands possible. From the front office personel, to the nurse's (especially Danella!) Dr Sethi and Dr Colpan & Jared Pado are all exemplary providers. The office staff always follows up and keeps us informed regarding our care. This area is so lucky to have the highest quality Neuroscience-Spine Care right here in Vestal. My husband and I have the quality of life we do because of Dr Sethi's office. We cannot recommend him or his exemplary staff highly enough!

I have doctored with Dr Sethi for over 20 years. My family doctors with him. He is an outstanding physician and individual with a kind heart, phenomenal bedside manners and gifted hands . He is very knowledgeable and truly cares for his patients . We are very fortunate to have him remain in this area after one of our local health systems tried to sabotage him

While we have to wait, Dr Sethi’s office visits are well worth it . He is kind. Very knowledgeable and he made us very comfortable. We proceeded ahead with the surgery he proposed. I have done extremely well and have to thank him for giving me my life back . Forever Grateful.

During a hurried appointment dr.sethe was comparing in a matter of minutes and sent me on way saying I don’t see anything. Had he read films from the mylogram he would seen the results indicating c6 c7 root should be distributed. Did look at the report. On the way he says. Get mri of the brain. Hade one in July, hello. Needless i guess i have to go elsewhere.

We did have to wait quite a bit, but knowing that he will provide you with the best care possible is worth every bit. I have had multiple back surgeries and could not walk. I have had an extensive revision fusion with him. He explained everything. Was honest with me about the recovery. I am over a year out. I am taking no pain meds and can walk and be with my family and grand kids in a manner I had not been able to for years prior to seeing Dr Sethi. This man is gifted, and for me has worked miracles. He did get me my my life back, as he promised he would try to do. The long wait times are worth every bit

Unprofessional

He was a great Doctor for me. Only wish I would have went to him sooner. However he was very responsive and got me in for surgery in spite of his heavy workload. Even seen me on Sunday at his office. He found my problem right away. Two other neurosurgeon’s previously failed to find my problem and cost me a lot of lost time with pinched nerves which resulted in major nerve damage. I thank God for his skill and devotion to his profession. If you have a spinal problem get to him. Thank you Dr Sethe and staff.

Dr Sethi has saved me from paralysis on at least 3 occasions, and has made my moderately to severely painful condition much more tolerable. He’s an excellent surgeon, really takes his time to make sure you understand what is going on, what he needs to do to help you heal. He has an incredible bedside manner, and really does care about the patient

Poor bedside skills

Dr. Sethi preformed 2 low back surgeries on me last year. He is a great Doctor… I respect and recommend him infinity. He is a very intelligent MD. Also very well known in my area of North Spencer Ny!! Word can not explain in words how great full I am to have him as my specialist.??????

Dr Sethie is a very pleasant person, He is straight to the point on your condition. He gives you all the facts looks over any images with you and explains what is going on and what can be done to relieve or fix the problem. Dr Sethie also takes other medical issues you may have into consideration. He leaves the decision to you on how you want to proceed. I would most definitely recommend him.

TERRIBLE.My father had a CT scan ordered by DR. Sethi to evaluate a vertebral fracture. He told my parents that he would call them with a plan and a week passed without a phone call from his office. My mother called and i called to inquire about the plan as my father who is 94 was in terrible pain. My father then fell and Dr. Sethi's office told my parents to go to the emergency room. My father was admitted to Wilson Hospital and Dr. Sethi was suppose to see him . He arrived at 10:30pm and told my father he was going to do vertebroplasty the following day at 2:30. If he could not do it, he was to going to have his collegue do it because he was leaving for a trip. The next morning the nurses told my father that something came up with Dr. Sethi and they planned to discharge him home. My father is 94, weakened from the fracture and pain. They did not schedule a vertebroplasty as an outpatient. As a physician myself, this is terrible care. I would not recommend Dr. Sethi to anyone.

Dr Sethi did two spinal cord surgeries on my mom. He is a compassionate and skillful doctor. He explained everything to our family and calmed our fears. The surgeries were a success. Thank God for Dr Sethi????????????
