Dr. Kristina Reed, MD

My experience was awful, I have never met a doctor so apathetic. Use as a last choice.

Dr Reed is the best doctor I have ever seen. She has such a professional manner while listening with her heart. She is outstanding with her ability to diagnose accurately and quickly.

Dr Reed is one of those exceptional doctors you want on your team. She takes whatever time is needed no matter how busy she is. She not only really listens but she is incredibly sensitive and compassionate and truly cares about her patients. All of these things are so special but what is even more wonderful is that she is an amazing diagnostician and is so incredibly skilled at doing spinal injections on complicated anatomies like me who also have other medical challenges. I've had several back surgeries at L4/L5 and have had a disc and part of two vertebrates removed. Most doctors wouldn't touch me but she took my case and has saved me from severe pain. Dr Reed's amazing skills precision have allowed me to keep the pain tolerable and I've been able to get by with one injection a year. She has done injections on my shoulders and knees to help control pain until surgeries could be done. She's a gem and I am deeply saddened she has left SLC. Lucky Minnesota!

I have made 2 appointments with this doctor. Both times the office has called me the day before to cancel and reschedule. I have no idea if she is a good doctor because she's never available. I scheduled with a different orthopedic group. I need to be seen.

I have had three procedures completed by Dr. S and love her ability to understand my health and her ownership of my complete needs. She is knowledgeable and compassionate, which are rare in today's medical providers. It is reassuring to have her on my health team.

Dr. Snihurowych is the best communicator I have ever experienced. I'm old (59), athletic, and have collected numerous injuries, some of which haunt me. Kristina is my connection to reality. She explains why I must accept reality. She is also extremely good at finding and explaining my best options. When I'm desperate she is my go-to physician. She is hands down my favorite physician ever. I should stop going to orthopedists and go straight to Dr. Snihurowych.

Dr S. Saw me for the first time a few months ago. She took the time to listen to me. She didn’t seem rushed at all. She talked to me as an equal and managed to interject a little humor into my appointment, which for a first visit I appreciated, as it can be a little stressful trying to get to know a new doctor. As well has promoting a feeling of safety and listening, Dr. S came up with a great treatment plan for me, and I plan to stay with her for my back interventions!

Stay away from Dr. Snihuwych! Haveeen trying to schedule an appointment with her for over three weeks so she could review BRAND NEW MRI's and exams and give me a treatment course, but when her office finally reached out they said she didn't want me as a patient because she agreed with the failed treatment course I was given over a year ago by one of her colleagues. Honestly, if the woman can't even find my exams on their shared computer system I surely don't want her messing with my spine.

Dr. Snihurowych is the first doctor to actually help my lower back and hip pain. I had a large herniated disc at l5-s1. I received 2 injections and the herniation shrunk significantly. I still had pain in my lower back and hip. Dr. S took the time to listen to me respectfully. My pain pattern is somewhat atypical, She did another injection and it helped to reduce the pain quite a bit. Dr. S is a gem! She is competent, personable and caring! I would definitely recommend her.

We love Dr S! She is very personable, takes her time and makes you feel like she has plenty of time for you. I have brought my mom to see her 3 times in the last 3 years and everytime it has been a great experience. We would highly recommend her!
