I was on the phone frequently d/t my job/speaking with this office. When all of a sudden, I couldn’t move my rt arm, I called the MOST AWESOME JOYCE in 2011, who said come right over. He saw me, I had no reflexes and my arm was in a bent position, SENT ME FOR STAT MRI~~~ that SHOWED NOTHING! (IMAGING IS ONLY AS GOOD AS TECHNOLOGY ALLOWS!) I, AS AN RN, TRUSTED HIM AND I was in SURGERY in 2 days, FOR DISCECTOMY/laminotomy, at 2 LEVELS, C4-5/5-6! He is the greatest Neurosurgeon I have ever met in my 30 yrs as an RN!! I had success, (C/S) but I ENDED UP needing 2 more L/S surgeries, and I AM DEVASTATED, because he is NOW RETIRED! But SOO THANKFUL my journey was with HIM! I LOVED OUR JOKES and ALWAYS feeling caIm! I will never be able to thank him enough! His LEGACY is one of FEW, OF THIS MAGNITUDE, in my many years OF WORKING with Neurosurgeons!! WE DEFINITELY RETIRED THE BEST! I wish him many happy years to come!! No one DESERVES IT MORE! Thank you for so much, Dr. SPETKA!

Wow I had multiple back issues, stenosis due to arthritis and two bulging discs, horrible pain in my lumbar area. Dr. Spetka reviewed my MRI and recommended a Laminectomy and the results were unbelievable.

Dr. SPetka has been through this journey with my back and I would not have had it any other way. He does a great job, is compassionate, encouraging and really cares. To top it off Dee is such a pleasure each time I come in.

Staff very friendly. Nurse who I called a few times after surgery was super nice. Was literally pain free when I woke up!! Heard nothing but great things about Dr. Spetka and he lived up to them.

I became a patient of Dr Spetka after a serious accident that caused c4 and c5 fractures. He has been very helpful throughout and giving me realistic recovery time frames. Erica at check in is also very friendly and helpful and made me feel welcome and comfortable.

I had a c-5 and c-6 fusion and removal of herniated disc. My personal experience with Dr. Spetka Was wonderful. He was very helpful in answering all my questions, and scheduled my surgery right away. Today my stenosis is virtually gone with almost no symptoms. I thank Dr. Spetka for giving me my life back and for him, and his staff treating my family and i with the most utmost courtesy. and professionalism.

My sister told me Dr. Spetka was a great surgeon. I thought she was exaggerating , she wasn't. He is a very personable, caring, talented individual who treated me with every courtesy and answered every question I had. My pain is gone and my recovery is progressing well. I wish there was a rating category for AWESOME!!

Very friendly staff. Doctor and the PA were very professional and treated me effectively and my surgery was done in a timely manner. He even made his own follow up calls after surgery to see how I was feeling, and also answered all questions I may have had. I was very please with my care.
