Dr. Leena Sharan, MD

She may have at one time been a good Cardiologist. She no longer is and is putting her patients well being in jeopardy. Sadly, she does not know the main function of a pacemaker which is to keep the heart beating, not stopping fast or pounding heart beats (AFIB). She enters your medical history records incorrectly and refuses to correct them. Talks bad about other Cardiologist and doctors. Please avoid Heartplace altogether as they are more about being a business rather than supporting their patients well being and their heart conditions.

Since receiving the 'red devil' as a chemo in 2012-2013 Dr. Sharan and her team are my go-to experts that I trust for my heart -healthcare. It's difficult to find highly trained female cardiologists let alone double board certified. With the concerns of my family heart history I rely on Dr. Sharan and Ms Preethy to supply me the necessary information, encouragement and medical support for my heart healthcare. She is rude she doesn't want to see me but also she is creating problems for me and she is making sure I do not get another doctor.

Met Dr. Sharan last May (2018) for clearance for back surgery. She calmly and kindly set me up for stress test. When that test was abnormal, she performed an angiogram. She was so calm and matter-of-fact that it took away most of my apprehension. Went to follow up this month, reminded me of her kindness which is so lacking from so many Drs. She’s definitely a “keeper”.

Dr Sharan is one of the most caring and thorough doctor's I have ever known. She spends time with you and asks about family and your quality of life. Dr Sharan is a great cardiologist who I would recommend to any of my family or friends. Yes this is a busy practice and they do sometimes get behind schedule but the wait is worth the care and attention you will receive from Dr Sharan.

Dr. Sharan is AWESOME. She has that perfect combination of kindness, experience, intelligent and being extremely knowledgeable. Being a young man in need of a cardiologist is a scary thing. Dr. Sharan and her staff has made this process as conformable as possible. I was referred to Dr. Sharan during my pregnancy by my OBGYN several years ago due to blood pressure issues I was having during pregnancy. Dr. Sharan made me feel at ease and managed my blood pressure through out my pregnancy and is still helping me control it years later. Dr. Sharan has a great bedside manner. She is thorough, spends as much time with patients as you need, never feels rushed and is very personable. Would highly recommend her!
