Dr King took care of me when I had to return to Duke for a rejection issue following my liver/kidney transplant. She is the greatest! She listened, gave answers, and made me feel like I was an important patient. I wish she could be my regular hematologist at Duke.

Took over at Duke for Dr. Allistair Smith. Couldn't be happier. Like you'd expect from most all Duke physicians she's very knowledgable in her field. What makes it better is that you never feel rushed through an appointment like a number. She takes the time and she makes you feel like she truly cares.

I am a patient of Dr. King and I will tell you that she is through and also very excellent at explaining to you what is going on with your condition. She takes the time to talk to you and not make you feel as though you are just another number. Her bedside manor is as good as it gets. I would recommend her with 5 STARS and then some.
