Dr. Coleman is a Super Star. She removed a very large mass along with approx. 10' of my large intestine. My surgery was on Monday and I was discharged on Wednesday and was back behind my desk doing paperwork Saturday. I have had both knees replaced, both shoulders sewn back together, hernia repair and other minor procedures but my recovery time from Dr. Coleman's surgery was the shortest out of all the others. She and her staff are simply amazing.

Dr. Coleman is the kind of doctor we all wish we could find. She takes the time to really explain things and you can tell she genuinely cares. I'm used to feeling like just a number at the doctor's office, but she was a pleasant surprise. Even though we're talking about a topic as awkward as GI issues, she makes those uncomfortable chats feel easy and informative.

Will never use again!
Was referred by a family member I waited 1 month to see her, finally got in to see her and she set up a colonoscopy for 2 weeks later. Had the colonoscopy she could not complete it due to a blockage, said she would schedule a virtual colonoscopy, weeks went by and I was never contacted for the follow up procedure, kept calling the office and they kept giving me the run around I called my primary doctor to have her follow up with Colemans office they kept saying the procedure was scheduled but it was not! Just kept getting the run around. The office is horrible! Spoke with the office manager and that was like talking to a wall! Dr. Coleman should have followed up with her office but obviously did not! Finally gave up and went to a new Doctor! Will NEVER use Dr. Coleman and her office again !

Surgery
After my last colonoscopy I was advised I had a sessile polyp attached to my appendix and needed to have my appendix removed. I was referred to Dr Coleman. After reviewing the reports and results Dr Coleman was extremely thorough in explaining to me what needed to be done. She explained everything to me and was sure I understood what would be done. I was not at all worried about anything because she took the time to explain the entire procedure. Surgery went well and I had the best care. Today was my follow up with Dr Coleman and once again she was patient with me, answering questions and very kind and considerate. She never rushed me one time or made me feel uncomfortable. I'm confident that everything is fine but if I ever needed anything again I would definitely return to Dr Coleman. I would highly recommend Dr Coleman.

To say our experience with the front office there is abysmal is an affront to the word abysmal. My wife has been trying for over 3 weeks to get a form filled out so she can get her short term disability after surgery from work. The insurance company has had to fax it three times as the office staff claims they never received it, then they admitted they have received it and said that they would have it done and it has never occurred. When she calls she never gets a return phone call. I personally dropped off a form over 3 weeks ago and was treated quite rudely as well. This goes back to February 17th and has still not been resolved. It’s a horrible way to treat people.

I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Lisa Coleman to anyone. At the first meeting, she explained very thoroughly what was going to happen and how to take care of it. After the surgery to resection my colon, Dr. Coleman was wonderful to work with and even better to talk to. She understand my fears and quickly put them to rest. What a great way to feel with your doctor.

Meeting with Dr. Coleman to discuss my pending colon surgery where many questions were raised and all were answered. Never felt rushed, and had no anxiety going into surgery. Very informative with explanations and expectations. Her protocol enhances a faster recovery. I was pleasantly surprised at how good I felt the day after surgery even though I had a mid-line incision. She is friendly, very attentive, experienced, knowledgeable, and concerned for your well being. Highly recommend her.

I got a colonoscopy from Dr. Coleman in August of 2018. It was my first one, so I was a bit nervous about the whole process. It all went great. She and her staff made sure I was clear about the preparation. She even made herself available by phone the day before the procedure to answer my questions about the prep. The procedure was painless and she and her staff made me feel comfortable throughout the whole time. There was even a good amount of humor. I can't say I'm excited for my next one, but
