Dr. Maritza Riascos, MD

I took my MRI in to the doc to get it explained to me, she referred me to the internet for an explanation. She didn't even specify a website, just said for me to 'look up the terminology on the internet to understand what everything meant'. When I told her I had questions about follow-up actions that may be needed, especially to address pain management, she just wrote a prescription w/o looking at my data. When I asked to have my questions answered, she said I would have to make a follow up appointment. Why would I make a follow up appointment for the same reason I came in initially? Disappointed with this doctor.

Dr. Riascos treats me for Neuropathy, Fibromyalgia, and degenerative joints (age related). She performed a nerve conduction study that answered my questions as to why everything hurts. Dr. Riascos listens, cares, promotes a healthy lifestyle including, exercise, eating habits instead of prescribing pain medications like some doctors do. Her specialties treat people with health conditions much worse than mine. I'm grateful I found this practice and have total confidence in Dr. Riascos.
