We saw Dr. Dannenbaum (Dr.D) during a follow up visit for my son after a motor vehicle accident. Another surgeon in the same group whom we were seeing, advised us that my son needed a shunt in order to correct the hydrocephalus condition he had developed after the accident. Fortunately for us, the day we went in for my son's follow up the other surgeon was not available and Dr. D was filling in for him. Dr. D examined my son thoroughly and advised us that my son DID NOT need a shunt! Today after 5 years my son is in good health and it was a blessing to have crossed paths with Dr. Dannenbaum. Thank you Dr, Dannenbaum and God Bless You. My advise to patients - please ALWAYS try to get a second opinion.

I am more than please with my surgery experience with Dr. Dannenbaum. He has a great bedside manner while keeping a very professional demeanor. He explained my procedure and followed up after my surgery with a visit to my hospital room and a phone call when I returned home. I would recommend him to anyone needing surgery. My husband took my advice and had knee surgeries a couple months after mine. I have nothing negative to say about Dr. Dannenbaum---only praise!

Pretty sad when you reach out to him he does not communicate. When you tell him there is s problem his standard reply is it’s normal. Caused my wife several surgery’s that may not have been needed if he would get off his lazy backside and take s look instead of sending one of his students. Run from him

The WORST office staff I've ever encountered.. He's office does not have any nursing staff they are all extremely rude medical assistants. He only has one day open for appointments for his follow up Neuro surgery patients. In a nut shell his office should none existent. The doctor is not accessible after the surgery until two weeks for the follow up appointment. Horrible service. Avoid the aggravation!!!
