Miss diagnosis of a peptic ulcer

Always takes time to listen to my concerens.

She is very cold and I will never see her again. She scolded me for having an overweight 5 year old and when I asked her for advice on getting my daughter’s weight under control she said she didn’t have any advice. She actually said I don’t know how many calories a 5 year old should consume and then she left. She’s incredibly judgmental and like most uppity people in Monument.

I've been a patient of Dr Devalon for 4 years. She's a very good doctor - knowledgeable and professional. However, I always feel rushed when I meet with her. We're often still talking,I'm relating health information to her and she has one foot out the door. She comes across as cold. We have no chemistry. A couple of years ago she scolded me for bringing up questions that weren't specifically related to our appt. Time to change Primary Dr.

I love Dr. Devalon! She really takes times engaging with her patients. She has been my primary doctor for many years. I find her very caring, knowledgeable and informative. She has helped me with a variety of health issues and always has my best interest at heart. I would recommend her to anyone. Thanks for the awesome care!

I am 70 years old and have seen a lot of physicians in my life so far. Dr. Devalon ranks as one of the best. She is thorough, she listens and is easy to talk with, she takes the time needed to address concerns, and she provides excellent medical care.

I have been a Patient of Dr Devalon's for over 2 years. I was assigned to her after the Dr I had been seeing for 18 years retired. Our Patient / Dr relationship visits escalated quickly when I came down with Pneumonia and then a Lung operation to get it under control. I am super positive about Dr Devalon and her team. Dr Devalon is very knowledgable, thorough, communicative and compassionate. I give Dr Devalon credit for finding the need for me to have an operation that may have saved my life.

I've been seeing Dr. Devalon for four years - mostly for annual checkups. I have always been impressed with her professionalism/bedside manner. She takes her time in answering questions and I never feel like she is rushing to get out of the room. I appreciate that she doesn't order "every test out there" and wasn't pushy when I declined having a colonoscopy at age 50. (I've since gotten it done, but not because she pressured me into doing so.) Dr. Devalon's staff is just as nice.

A very thorough and knowledgeable physician! With patients, she listens to your comments, provides excellent answers to questions, and is efficient with her time. I am very impressed with her bedside manner and her knowledge; I trust her medical advice explicitly. I would strongly recommend Dr. Devalon to others.
