Dr Experience was great.
I had been to several different Dr's with back/hip pain. Every single one if them told me nothing could be done, except Dr Perez-Cruet. I had several MRI'S and X-Rays with absolutely no relief. He looked at my testing and tokd me right away he would do everything in his piwer to help me. I had severe scoliosis, and Spinal Stenosis. I never knew this. I had back surg for a non cancer tumor in 2016 by another one of his collegues and Dr Perez-Cruet, saw the test and immediately said he would do his best to help me. I had a Laminectomy L-3-5, spinal fusion on March 30, 2023. Although its been only 2 weeks, I am confident Im going to heal completely. He told me my problem was very rare and he would use it to teach others. I love Dr Perez-Cruet he was extremely proffessional and awesome. Id recommend him 100% to anyone with back issues. I see him again toward the end of June at his new practice in Waterford. Looking forward to showing him he did a great job.

Dr. Perez-Cruet is a very good neurosurgeon. He truly cares about me, as a person and a patient. Dr. Perez-Cruet performed a minimally invasive surgery with an implant and he took care to fully explain the procedure and risks and followed up after the surgery. This is the first time I have been pain free in over 10 years. Highly recommend him as an expert.

Dr Perez-Cruet. Saved my back . With a little surgery. He recommended having a Nervo HF10 back stimulator. After the 6 day trail, I had no pain and have decided to go ahead with the minor surgery to put in the stimulator. After having pain for 5 years, I found Michigan Head and Spine and Dr.Perez-Cruet and Dr.Kevin Lee who saved my back from pain. I sense have told a few friends that have back pain to make a appointment Thank You again Dr P. and Dr L.

Initially I was quite pleased with dr pc, but that was back when private insurance paid the bills. Theoretically he takes Medicaid, but he "fired" me as a patient because "I'm paying for your care". Really? Lectured for about 5-10 minutes on how he was losing money by helping me. Gee, doc, guess how I feel being broke enough to qualify for Medicaid? Plus waiting for 2-3 hours is very difficult with an ouchy spine. In short ... Excellent surgeon, seems nice enough at first, but you better have really good insurance and lots of patience.

Dr. Perez- Cruet recently performed surgery on my back and it is thus far a huge success. The horrible nerve pain I was experiencing is gone and I can walk without my legs giving out. It's true that he is not the ebullient type, but he is a great surgeon.

Might be a good surgeon, but not good for follow-up consulting. Has no time to listen to your issues. Did not look at provided test results from neurologists. Bottom line don't expect any help following surgery. Went to St Joe's head and spine and got another opinion, they were great. Would not recommend Dr. Prez.

I was turned down by every doctor (5) I visited in Georgia and some doctors claimed there was to many variables, but Dr. Perez-Cruet took my case and after a complete review of my back injury, performed spinal fusion surgery. I woke up in the hospital completely out of pain. Thank you Dr. Perez-Cruet!

He performed spinal fusion surgery for me and I am very pleased with the results. There may be a month or so wait for your initial appointment but it is worth the wait. When I informed my family physician who would be performing my surgery, he and the cardiologist were most complimentary to Dr. Perez-Cruet as they had seen other patients of his.

Dr. Perez provided excellent patient care. I had L4/L5 fusion due to severe spinal canal stenosis. Dr. Perez performed minimally invasive fusion surgery. My severe debilitating sciatica pain is gone. Prior to surgery Dr. Perez explained in detail the surgery process and recovery plan. Dr. Perez also uses auto bone graft process which basically eliminates rejection. I highly recommend Michigan Head & Spine Institute. MHSI staff provide great patient care and especially Dr. Perez...Thank you

My first appointment, Dr. Perez-Cruet was everything I thought he would be. He took a lot of time to discuss my complex surgery. He was very methodical, thoughtful, and genuinely kind. My surgery resulted in full recovery from the striking pain I was experiencing. I am so grateful that Dr. Perez-Cruet continues to perform spine surgery, while still engaging in important teaching and research, as a pioneer in the field. Surgery patients are encouraged to call his office with quest

This man solved a problem other doctors could not. I was in a lot of pain. 5 Vicodins a day pain. Unable to move certain ways. Enter Dr Perez-Cruet. He diagnosed the problem quickly, set up a surgical appt quickly, and performed the operation with great success. Great success. I am pain free now and can resume all the activities I could not before meeting him. Cannot thank this man enough. Footnote: If you are a warm and fuzzy snowflake, this guy is not for you.

I have the utmost respect for Dr. Perez-Cruet, this man has not only performed one surgery on my lower back but he has done six surgeries in four years on my back. I wouldn't want anyone else to operate on me but Dr. Perez-Cruet. He has done a lot of work on my back but because of Dr. Perez-Cruet and our Lord I am still able to walk, at one time I was in a wheelchair. He is very knowledgeable at what he does and if anybody can help you, he can.
