Terrible waste of my time
I have been fighting CMV for over 6 years of my life. I moved to WV and was having more issues. After I went to my doctor who ran several blood tests ( I went due to waking up that morning and could not stay awake for more then 5 minutes) to show that my cmv was still showing positive I got referred to him…I left work, without pay, to drive an hour to see him. I waited in his office for almost an hour. As he walked in he was on HIS PHONE and asked me “what are you here for”. He stayed on his phone for almost the whole appointment. He dismissed me immediately like I was a waste of his time. The nurse that was with him saw me start to ball my eyes out and didn’t do anything to help. He didn’t care. All he could say was “just take some cold medicine like everyone else”

Excellent Experience
Dr Bilgrami was very thorough, very concerned, and very proactive in my treatment. He took the time to answer all my questions in friendly, informative manner. I have complete confidence in him and recommend him highly.

Rude
Dr. Belgrami was so rude and completely unprofessional to my friend (the patient). He looked at her history of addiction and completely wrote her off. He told her to pull out her parasite and show it to him. I don't know where he lost his patient care and bedside manner, but he indeed lost it.

Completely rushed through, didn't listen to a word I said, told me to go back on medication I have been off of for over 15 years, and without a single note of my history. Poor manners, rude, pompous, and a complete waste of time. Very disappointed. We need better people in positions like his.

Not good. I went to treat my hepatitis c. He was rude to me and my elderly mother who was with me at the time. He showed obvious prejudice that I was in Methadone treatment. The experience left me visibly shaken, and my mother completely demoralized after my appointment which ended without me being treated. It was obvious to both my Mother and I, he is selective on who gets the treatment, and that he had prejudice against me. We both wished we had recorded the appointment to prove it. BEWARE!

If you have lymes disease stay away from Dr. Bilgrami and don't walk, but RUN. He believes that if left untreated, lymes disease will go away or resolve on it's own. He can look at you and diagnosis you with fibromyalgia or sleep apnea without looking at your laboratory results for lymes disease. "You might have one knee swell up, but lymes disease would not affect multiple joints." The really sad thing is that he is being paid to dish out this garbage.
