I met Dr. Tongbai while working at Hong Kong club in Tijuana. I didn't know he was a doctor till I was serving him one night. I mention to him that I've been waiting to have an eye exam, but I don't have insurance. He was nice enough to offer a discounted rate, so I took him up on the offer. After the exam I was so happy that I started to recommend him to family, friends, and fellow co-workers. As a matter of fact that's how he met his current wife. Me and his wife use to work together.

Dr. Tongbai and staff are friendly, caring, and very thorough in exams. He spends a lot of time listening and explaining any concerns. Very knowledgeable in all areas of eye health!

Dr. Ronald Tongbai and his staff are at the utmost the best, friendliest and most competent ophthalmologist. Dr. Tongbai found a small tear in one of my retinas. He called to a surgeon right away in Newport Beach and received surgery care on that same day. Since I neglected to advise Dr. Tongbai today of a procedure I have done 40 days in a hyperbaric oxygen tank for a wound healing on my shin I will be following up perhaps causing my new cateracts and/or fuzziness showing up....
