Dr. Ross Cohn, MD

I went to see Dr. Ross Cohn on December 11, 2024 for my yearly check up. I have been going to him for 10-15 years. I had received a text message the week before confirming my appt. on that day & time. I drove approximately 40 miles for my appt. Went to his office and the girl there said he was no longer there. She thought he had moved to North Carolina. No one had called to cancel my appt. or send a letter, NOTHING! Just a confirmation I had an appt. On December 11. So if you have an appt. with Dr. Cohn, he is no longer in Hixson. I think it is very poor whether it be him or his office manager that I wasn’t notified by someone.

While on vacation here in Tnn my husband developed a large kidney stone and needed emergency surgery - so thankful Dr Cohn was On Call , he and the entire staff at CHI Hixson quickly got him taken care of and explained everything in a way that put us at ease - could not have asked for a better experience to what was a difficult and very painful situation - from the ER to recovery then discharge everyone was respectful and cared for both me and my husband like family. God Bless

I visited Dr Cohn to learn results of recent MRI exam.

Won't say it was fun but Dr Cohn explains and puts patients at ease, great bedside manner and very professional.

Dr Cohn making rapid progress in identifying cause of my problem. This gives me great confidence in the future of a cure of my problem.

Always professional. Always caring. Always friendly. I see him every 3 months and have for more than 10 years.

Dr Ross was efficient timely and thorough. He is kind and takes the time needed to answer my questions. His staff was equally chacteristic.

Dr Cohn is very knowledgeable but doesn’t use unfamiliar terminology that would confuse you. He listened to all my concerns and answered satisfactorily. I’d highly suggest seeing him if you need a vasectomy (or any other reason)

Dr. Cohen and his staff put you at ease as soon as you walk in the door. They are all knowlegeable, professional and friendly. Dr. Cohen was quick to diagnose and treat my problem. I highly recommend him.

I arrived for my appointment and was in and out in less than 30 min's.
