She’s Fantastic!
Dr Avakian has been so attentive and detailed whenever I’ve met with her. She explains everything in full detail and follows up, as promised. I am so grateful to have her as my gynecologist and highly recommend her to all who are looking for a good female physician! Shes amazing.

would not recommend
I would not recommend Dr Avakian. She lacks empathy and has a very poor fund of medical knowledge. She refused to give me simple fluids when I had severe hyperemesis and said it was because my urine had no ketones meanwhile my blood pressure was low and I was so dizzy I needed a wheelchair. I had to show her pubmed articles during the visit saying that urine ketones don’t correlate with hyperemesis severity. Her solution was to terminate the pregnancy of a healthy baby rather than to offer any treatment or consult another doctor for advice. Not once did she show any semblance of empathy or concern.
