Dr Zafar is so kind and supportive through every appointment! She is thorough with diagnosis and speaks in layman terms for us to understand procedures and treatment plans. I highly recommend her!!!

Just returned home from my first visit with Dr. Zafar and I have just got to say how pleased and thankful I am for my experience. First of all, the staff is outstanding and everything a patient would want And Dr. Zafar is thorough, friendly, not rushed and it's evident she is very much up on any new development in her field of medicine. I can't believe that on the first visit when it's usually "meet and greet" I was given a Electrocardiogram, an Echocardiogram and a Lexiscan Stress Test in her office! I have every confidence in her.

I live in Terrell and Dr. Saima Zafar, MD became my Cardiologist because of high blood pressure. She is a real 5 Star doctor and is truly exceptional. From the moment I entered the doors to the office, I felt welcomed, cared for, and completely at ease. The office and medical staff are outstanding in what they do. I found the wait time was less than 10 minutes. Dr Zafar took time to explain my treatment plan and answered all my questions. I found her to be kind and willing to listen to my concerns. She is an Angel willing to serve others.

Dr. Zafar became my Cardiologist via the ER at Athens Hospital. She was decisive, competent and businesslike. I’d have liked slightly more personable but she initiated the right care for me. Subsequently, her follow-up has been exemplary and her staff is terrific. I’m so glad to have become her patient. The medical outcome is to be most thankful for. 2 stints and a clean bill of health. Dr Saima Zafar MD became my Cardiovascular Consultant on April 4th 2017. Based on Echo test results only 15 % of my heart was operating. With her remarkable knowledge she was able to stablelize my heart with different medications and also remended a defibrillator to assist me in maintaining a stable lifestyle. I was a new patient. The check in was very good. Appointment was on time. The Nurse took me back took vitals and had EKG done. Dr. Zafar came in pulled up a chair opened my chart and went over everything. She explained in language I understood and asked if I had any questions. She answered all my questions. I felt very comfortable with my visit. The staff was very well trained an friendly. They made you feel very comfortable while at the doctors office. Very exceptional doctor.

She takes the time to ask questions and answer any questions you might have she doesn't rush you in and out like some doctors do. She treats you like a person not a chart, She has an app for your phone that helps her keep track of your progress and helps you remember to take your medications. My heart function has improved under her care. Her staff is very friendly and helpful and doesn't rush you either. I would recommend her to anyone that is seeking good care.
