Dr. Witherspoon ruined my vision.
As a photographer & very visual person I always cautioned Dr.'s working on my eyes how important my vision is. Summer 2018, Infinity Vision performed cataract surgery. Some time later my right eye developed cloudiness. I was referred to Dr. Witherspoon. He performed a 'Vitrectomy' on my right eye.During healing and several months of appointments the retina in my right eye developed a wrinkle, resulting in slight double vision. I appealed to Dr. Witherspoon to correct it but instead, referred me to Dr.'s at UT Southwestern who said nothing could be done. The double vision affects my reading, driving and general awareness. I suggest you find a different 'supposed' retina specialist.

My eye’s adore him
Dr. Witherspoon has taken care of my husband several times. He is very honest and tells you the in’s and out’s of the issue. He values his time and values ours the same. His office staff each have one specific duty to treat the patient. He is one of a kind. He puts himself in his patience shoes. My husband has dementia and has had a stroke. I am very particular about who cares for him.

One of the Best ophthalmologist in DFW
Dr Scott Witherspoon is very nice, respectful, intelligent and understanding. He listens to his patients, explains procedures and makes you comfortable. Great bedside manner, and best Retinologist in my books. The eye injection was flawless and painless. I recommend him anytime to anyone needing eye surgery. I thank you very much for your patience, and restoring my sight. He is just a trustworthy, very nice Dr and genuinely loves what he does. Appointment wait times are minimal which is refreshing. God bless you and your practice. You truly care about your patients. I am genuinely impressed and I highly recommend him.

I am treated for,”WetMacDeg”. I have been with Dr Witherspoon for3 1/2years. I get shots every6-8wks., it my eye. He fantastic at not letting you feel those shot. I am sensitive to Betdine& Idoine used to keep bacteria out of eyes & he wash eyes After shot. Otherwise, I eye would feel like they burning eye my eyes and aRx for numbness wears off. Soo far he’s been excellent in his treatment of me.
